
A training for law enforcement officers on occupational safety and the impact on access to HIV-related services for people who use drugs was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The event was organized by the UNODC.

Associate Professor of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 Tykhin SHEVCHENKO held a series of lectures for applicants for the second (master's) level of higher education at the University of Turība in Riga. The classes were devoted to issues of ensuring the stability of protected objects using modern technological means.

The European Union Advisory Mission for the Reform of the Civil Security Sector of Ukraine is implementing another project aimed at creating effective and sustainable training programs for managers - both experienced and young leaders.

The university has received confirmation from the US Embassy in Ukraine that its application to participate in the Virtual English Language Educator Program, a US State Department scholarship programme, for the 2025–2026 academic year has been successful.

Through the mediation of the representative of the Norwegian Police University College, Suzanne BANCEL, and the Department of International Cooperation of KhNUIA, the university's personnel received access to current scientific materials on law enforcement activities from the representative of the Austrian Police Academy of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Thomas GREIS.

As part of cooperation with the Association of European Police Colleges, the scientific and pedagogical staff of KhNUIA is invited to participate in the online seminar "Online Session: International Police Missions", organized by the German Police University. The event will take place on October 9, 2025.

The Head of the Research laboratory of socio-psychological support, assistance and rehabilitation of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI No. 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Oleksii SERDIUK, took part in the annual conference of the European Society of Criminology "EUROCRIM 2025", which was held in Athens (Hellenic Republic).

The autumn session of English conversation clubs, organized on the initiative and facilitation of the International Cooperation Department, has begun for representatives of KhNUIA. The classes are conducted by native English speakers – Suzanne BANCEL and Dominique GEER.

Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 Olena SHAKHOVA participated in the 56th annual International Conference of the Society for Psychotherapy Research, which was held at the Jagiellonian University (Krakow, Republic of Poland).

Tetiana MATIUSHKOVA, Head of the International Cooperation Department, and Vitalii NOSOV, Professor of the Department of Counteracting Cybercrime at the ERI No. 4, joined an online working meeting with Pedro COSTA MUNOZ, CEPOL TOPCOP Project Coordinator.
