
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs has again received official confirmation of the activities of the ISACA student (cadet) group - an international association for IT audit, risk management, information security and cybersecurity.

As part of the study of the academic discipline "Theory of State and Law", Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Doctor of Law Yulia ZAHUMENNA, together with an expert of the European Union Advisory Mission to Ukraine on Education and Training, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Vasyl KORNIENKO, held a lesson for first-year students of the Educational and Research Institute No. 2.

Cadets of the ERI No. 1 and ERI No. 4 joined an online meeting with British professor Tim D. WILLIAMS, which took place as part of a series of educational and scientific events of the Cyber Security Month, organized in accordance with the order of the Minister of Internal Affairs, in the digital hub of the National Academy of Internal Affairs.

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs participated in a roundtable discussion on the topic "EU-certified training in psychological first aid: experience and prospects."

A lecture on the topic "Experience of the European Union and Poland in mediation for Ukraine" was held at the Educational and Research Institute No. 5, which was held by a leading Polish expert on mediation, consultant for European Commission projects, Michal FRANTSKOWIAK.

At the invitation of EUAM Ukraine, Oksana TSUKAN, a representative of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Assistant to the Rector on Gender Issues, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, spoke at a special event titled “Security Modernization: The Impact of Women Professionals in the Civilian Sector of Ukraine During the War”.

KhNUIA held a training course on "Psychological First Aid - Training of Trainers" for cadets of the Psychology specialty. The event was held with the support of the European Union Advisory Mission to Ukraine (EUAM) as part of the reform of the civil security sector.

As part of the international conference "New technological solutions as a resource for strengthening internal security", which was held in Riga (Republic of Latvia), Associate Professor of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 Tykhin SHEVCHENKO read a report on the topic "UAVs in the field of public security: from training simulations to field use."

A meeting with representatives of the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) on the reform of the civil security sector of Ukraine was held at the university. The delegation included expert José QUINTELA CARDOSO, trainer Ana Isabel CARNEIRO GONCALVES, and education and training expert Vasyl KORNIIENKO.
