
We invite you to get acquainted with the publication “Gender Aspect of European Integration: From Equal Treatment Directives to Regulation of Revenge Porn and Cyberbullying”, prepared by NGO “Women in Media” within the framework of the project “Gender Think Tank Network: Strengthening Capacity for Advanced Policy Development, Impact Assessment, Strategic Advocacy and Focused Policy Communications”.

The events were held at the State Police College of Latvia on the topic “The use of digital tools in police response - an innovative approach to improving public safety”. KhNUIA was represented by the First Vice-Rector Viktor Vasylenko, Head of the International Cooperation Department Tetiana Matiushkova, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Forensics of the ERI №5 Svitlana Lozova and Associate Professor of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI №2 Tykhin Shevchenko.

The Declaration was signed by Viktor Vasylenko, First Vice-Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and Dimitras Khomenko, Director of the State Police College of Latvia. This agreement aims to promote cooperation in the following forms: mutual study visits of representatives of the academic staff and students to exchange experience, exchange of scientific information, the latest teaching materials and articles for publication in scientific journals.

The annual conference “Artificial Intelligence in Police Training” was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia in Tbilisi. Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was represented by Tetiana Matiushkova, Head of the International Cooperation Department (offline) and Oleksandr Manzhai, Head of the Department of Cybercrime Counteraction (online).

A delegation from the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine (EUAM) paid a working visit to the University: Flemming Lau, Head of Police Operations at EUAM Ukraine, and Johan Heed, Senior Adviser on Stabilization Measures at EUAM Ukraine.

The meeting was attended by Viktor Vasylenko, First Vice-Rector of the University, Tetiana Matiushkova, Head of the Department of nternational Cooperation, and Yana Mazur, Anti-Corruption Officer of KhNUIA. They discussed the prospects for further EUAM cooperation with the university in the areas of preventing and combating corruption.

Representatives of the Republic of Latvia met with the Rector of the University, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko, who introduced the educational and material and technical base of the University, the history of Kharkiv Police University, the peculiarities of organizing the educational process under martial law, etc.

Head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Faculty №6, Doctor of History, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine Volodymyr Hrechenko took part in the XIII International Scientific and Theoretical Conference “Challenges in Science of Nowadays” in Washington, DC, in absentia.

Inna Larionova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3, took part in the International Summer School “Internationalization and Internationalization at Home through Virtual Exchange: Creating a Motivating Environment for Collaborative International Online Learning”.

Maryna Haidar, a lecturer at the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in a training workshop on "Elementary Cooperation: Constituent Elements for CA2 Projects" in Izvoara (Romania), organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ Program.
