Maris VITKOVSIS, Head of the Technical Support Department of the Main Resource and Crisis Management Department of the State Police of Latvia, met with representatives of KhNUIA - Head of the International Cooperation Department Tetiana MATIUSHKOVA and Associate Professor of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI №2 Tykhin SHEVCHENKO.

The participants of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with the assistance of the Department of International Cooperation attended a lecture in English on the topic: “Research on Eastern Europe and the Post-Soviet Space: A History of Violence”.

Representatives of the Language Training Department - Head of the Department Olena Stativka, Professor Oleh Honcharuk, Associate Professors Valentyna Pochuieva and Valentyna Kochyna, Senior Lecturers Larysa Sazanova and Artem Bilousov - attended the international online webinar “Supporting literacy development in the pre-primary classroom”.

The kick-off meeting of the International Research Consortium on the project "Children-Online", which is implemented within the framework of the SafeOnline program, took place in the city of Krakow. KhNUIA was presented by the Head of the Research laboratory for social and psychological support, assistance and rehabilitation of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI No. 3 Oleksii Serdiuk.

According to the results of the first year of work, the annual plenary meeting of the International Research Consortium on the RESONANT project “Interdisciplinary Research Cooperation on Foreign Interference, Suppression and Manipulation of Information in Diaspora Communities”, implemented under the Horizon Europe program, was held in Munich.

Volodymyr Ivantsov, Head of the Postgraduate (Adjunct) and Doctoral Studies Department of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Professor of the Department of Administrative Activity, Police Major, and Daniil Zinchenko, Adjunct of the Department, Senior Police Lieutenant, have successfully completed the Internal Displacement course.

The head of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation of ERI No. 1, Tetiana Fomina, became one of 30 participants in the three-day training "Procedural Interview for Vulnerable Categories of Persons", organized by the Norwegian Center for Human Rights in cooperation with the NGO JustGroup.

The teaching staff of the Department of Language Training of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the international annual online conference "Academic English Conference 2024" for English teachers from Cambridge University Press & Assessment.

The round table was held within the framework of the Declaration on Cooperation between Higher Education Institutions, which is part of the events marking the 30th anniversary of KhNUIA as a university. The participants were addressed by the Director of the ERI No. 5 Oksana Brusakova and the Dean of the Adam Mickiewicz Faculty of History in Poznań Przemysław Matuszyk.

A second-year student of the ERI No. 4 of KhNUIA Miliena Tsvietkova, who is studying in the specialty 071 "Accounting and Taxation", participated in the International autumn school "Introduction to Negotiations and Process Management", organized by the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poronin (Poland) and received a certificate.
