
Europe unites to save digital heritage. The COST Steering Committee in Brussels has approved the four-year COST Action initiative "European Media and Born-Digital Art Conservation and Knowledge Network" (EMBARK), which will run until October 15, 2029.

A competitive selection for participation in the Erasmus+ Mixed Intensive Credit Mobility Program for training within the International Student Week "Operational Communication" is announced. The training will take place in May 2026 at Norwegian University Police College (Kingdom of Norway).

The annual plenary meeting of participants in the international research consortium of the RESONANT project of the Horizon Europe Programme was held in Madrid (Kingdom of Spain). Kseniia YURTAIEVA, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No.1, took part in the V Polish Conference on Memory Research held by University of Silesia (Uniwersytet Śląski) in Katowice, Poland. She spoke on the panel «Memory after the russian invasion of Ukraine».

Within the framework of the Law Week in Ukraine, a joint session of scientific circles of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology and the Department of Criminal Procedure, Forensics and Expertology of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 was held. It was conducted by the Heads of the circles - Sssociate Professors of the Departments Yaroslav LANTINOV and Svitlana LOZOVA.

The EUAM Leadership Programme is being developed as a modern educational model for training managers in the security sector – a tool for creating a new generation of effective managers. Representatives of KhNUIA, NAIA, universities of the MIA system from Dnipro, Donetsk, Lviv and Odesa, the Prosecutors' Training Center, the State Customs Service and central bodies of the MIA joined the work on it.

Within the framework of the Declaration on Cooperation between Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland), Ukrainian and Polish scientists held a series of lectures and seminars on the topic "Historical-Legal and Criminological-Educational Discourse of Ukrainian-Polish Relations."

The online event was opened by the Leading Specialist of the International Cooperation Department of KhNUIA Nataliia SADOVA. She emphasized the importance of International Students' Day for Ukraine and recalled the history of its origin, which is associated with the tragic events of November 17, 1939 in the Czech Republic, when the Nazis arrested students and shot the leaders of the student movement. It was in their honor that this International Day was founded in 1941.
