The EUAM Leadership Programme is being developed as a modern educational model for training managers in the security sector – a tool for creating a new generation of effective managers. The Interagency Expert Group included representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, National Academy of Internal Affairs, Dnipro, Donetsk, Lviv and Odesa State Universities of Internal Affairs, the Training Center for Prosecutors, the State Customs Service of Ukraine and central bodies of the MIA system.

KhNUIA is represented in the group by Tetiana MATIUSHKOVA, Head of the International Cooperation Department and Kostiantyn BUHAICHUK, Head of the RL for Legal Support of Police Activities and Combating Crime.

The second session of the Interagency Expert Group was opened by Carsten TVELMAIER, Head of the Component Strategic Reforms and the Leadership and Education Department, emphasizing: "The new program should become a tool that forms a modern vision of leadership for the MIA system."

The participants listened to a practical workshop on the development of training programs from OlHa HORBANOVSKA, Head of the People Advisory Services Practice at EY in Ukraine, and Anna SKREBNIEVA, Manager, Leader of the EY People Management Academy. EUAM Ukraine Strategic Leadership Adviser, Roman Shabo, also presented modules on the challenges faced by today's leaders and the formation of transformation teams.

During the meeting, experts discussed the development of leadership competencies, their essential quality and components, as well as ways of further improvement. Open discussions and joint work became the basis for the formation of the structure of the future program.
