Higher education students of the ERI No. 5 of KhNUIA have handed over another batch of trench candles they made, which will be a significant support for the fighters in the winter cold. In their free time from studies, university students regularly make trench candles.

On the eve of the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of Crimea, the curators of educational work of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held informational and educational talks on the topic "Crimea is in our hearts" for cadets and students of Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-5.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Rector of the university, the Chairman of the Academic Council Valerii SOKURENKO congratulated and presented the departmental incentive awards of the National Police of Ukraine to the employees of the university. The members of the Academic Council discussed a number of topical issues of the higher education institution under martial law

Director of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Oksana BRUSAKOVA successfully completed online courses of the European Human Rights Training Programme for Legal Professionals (HELP) of the Council of Europe on the topics "Alternative Measures to Detention (4 hours)" and "Hate Crime (5 hours)".

Director of the ERI No. 5 Oksana BRUSAKOVA, Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology Mykola PAKHNIN and the guarantor of the educational and professional program "Law", Professor Andrii SHULHA met with a stakeholder - Director of the Eastern Interregional Center for the Provision of Free Legal Aid Anatolii BORODAVKA.

Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation, 3rd year students of the ERI No. 5 of KhNUIA, studying in the specialty "Law", once again visited Kharkiv District Administrative Court, which is an important component of their educational process.

Associate professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology Iryna ZHDANOVA and second-level higher education student Daria KOTIUK held a meeting with students of grades 10 and 11 of Krasnopavlivskyi Lyceum of Lozova City Council of Kharkiv region.

Professor Iryna NECHYTAILO, Associate Professors Alla SHYLINA, Natalia HRESA and Kateryna MANNAPOVA took part in the International Conference organized by the Interdisciplinary Laboratory for War and Disaster Research at the Pedagogical University of the National Education Commission (Krakow).

Associate professors of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 Iryna ZHDANOVA and Olena SHAKHOVA conducted lessons in the disciplines "Health Psychology" and "Psychotherapy and Psychocorrection" for first-level higher education students on the topic "Modern Psychological Practices in the Context of Healthcare."

Students of the ERI No. 5 have produced another batch of trench candles for the defenders on the front lines. These candles are easy to make and use, and their main purpose is to provide lighting at night or in conditions of limited visibility, when other sources of light may be dangerous or unavailable.
