On the initiative of Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 5 Victoria DAVYDENKO, representatives of the department, with the participation of the institute's management, held a career guidance conversation with high school students. Deputy Director of the institute Ella TVERDOKHLIB spoke about educational and scientific institutes and specialties.

Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 Iryna ZHDANOVA and second-level higher education student Yulia DANCHUK held a career orientation meeting with students of grades 10-11. They told the lyceum students about Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, admission requirements and study.

With the participation of representatives of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine at all locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, an online meeting was held with the participant of hostilities, athlete, writer, showman, student of the master's degree of the ERI No. 5 Oleksandr BUDKO (call sign "Teren").

The next meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminology and Expertise of the ERI No. 5, which was held under the chairmanship of the Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor Svitlana LOZOVA. The topic of the event was the use of special knowledge (traceology and trace research) in the investigation of crimes.

The Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with the Complex Trauma Institute of Britain (CTI York), organized and held a guest lecture for students of higher education in the specialty 053 "Psychology".

A meeting was held with the permanent staff of the university under the chairmanship of the First Vice-Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police Lieutenant Colonel Viktor Vasylenko, with the participation of Vice-Rector, Police Colonel Oleksandr Muzychuk.

On the eve of the Ukrainian Volunteer Day, which is celebrated on March 14 each year, the curators of educational work of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of KhNUIA held informational and educational talks "Those who go ahead" for Educational and Research Institutes No. 1–5.

A meeting with a participant in hostilities, veteran and hero of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Captain of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Bohdan KOPCHATOV was held at all locations of KhNUIA for cadets and students of Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-5, which was organized by the Department of social and humanitarian work.

On the initiative and assistance of the Director of the ERI No. 5 Oksana BRUSAKOVA, within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation, 2nd year students of the ERI No. 5 of KhNUIA, studying in the specialty "Law", visited the Commercial Court of Kharkiv Region.

The fighters of the 92nd SAB received another batch of trench candles and thanked the students of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 and its Director Oksana BRUSAKOVA for their help and support in the difficult conditions of the front lines. The volunteer movement of university students throughout the entire period of the legal regime of martial law is involved in helping the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
