
Future investigators and interrogators improved their already acquired skills and mastered new ones, including, in particular, the basic principles of first aid; conducting cardiopulmonary resuscitation; eliminating airway obstruction; algorithm of actions in case of bleeding, wounds and injuries; rules for transporting victims; providing assistance in other emergencies.

Vitalii ROMANIUK, Director of the ER 1, congratulated cadets Yaroslav DIACHKO and Daria HRELIA, who became the winners of the annual Competition of Scientific Works “History of Law Enforcement Agencies” among higher education students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the occasion of the University Foundation Day.

The strongest athletes of the country gathered at the Ukrainian Muay Thai Boxing Cup, which took place from January 29 to February 3, 2025 in Odesa. The cadets and master's students of the University demonstrated a real will to win, overcoming strong opponents and proving that perseverance and dedication bring results.

The meeting on the topic “Human and civil rights under the legal regime of martial law” was held offline and online. Illia PAVLOV, a 1st year student of the ERI №5, made a report “Restrictions of human rights under martial law”, and Yevhen NOVIKOV, a 1st year cadet of the ERI №4, presented an essay “Peculiarities of protecting the rights of the child under the legal regime of martial law”.

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a series of career guidance meetings with students of the final grades of lyceums №№24, 18, 25, 19, 20. The future applicants were told about the conditions of admission to the police university, peculiarities of training, educational programs, physical and tactical training, internships and the role of the university in the formation of future law enforcement professionals.

Olena YUSHKEVYCH, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, curator of the study group of the ERI №1, held an online meeting with cadets. The purpose is to familiarize higher education students with the basic principles of academic integrity.

The classes, organized with the support of the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) in Ukraine, were attended by higher education students of the ERI No. 1 and No. 4, scientific and pedagogical representatives of KhNUIA Departments, as well as representatives of Kamianets-Podilskyi DPD of the MDNP in Khmelnytskyi region, and a patrol police battalion.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1 Oleksandr AVDIEIEV and Assistant to the Rector of KhNUIA Viktor SLYSH provided high school students of Chernivtsi region with comprehensive information on the conditions for entering the university, specialties in which specialists for the National Police are trained.

The leading specialist of the practical training department of the educational process organization department of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Larysa IVANOVA, held a meeting with 4th year cadets of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1, who are currently undergoing internships.

A meeting was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs following the results of a comprehensive training on war crimes investigation, organized with the support of the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) in Ukraine.
