
The purpose of the competition is to ensure the comprehensive development and functioning of the Ukrainian language in all spheres of public life, to promote its status as a state language, and to raise the prestige of the Ukrainian language among young people. This year's event, held in a remote format, was attended by 19 higher education students from Kharkiv region.

Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights of KhNUIA Andrii VOITSIKHOVSKYI together with the investigator of Chortkiv Department of the National Police in Ternopil region Vasyl PANASIUK conducted a class for the cadets of the ERI No. 1 on the topic “Legal assistance in criminal cases as a type of international cooperation in combating crime”.

Kharkiv Regional Classical Powerlifting Championship was held in Kharkiv, in which the cadet of the ERI №1 Valentyn BALKOVYI took part. According to the results of the competition, Valentyn took first place among juniors in the category up to 74 kg with a triathlon sum of 492.5 kg, setting a personal record.

Valerii FRIDRIKH, Head of the Domestic Violence Sector of the Community Relations Department of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, together with Diana KIRIKA, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Activities of the ERI No. 3, conducted classes for freshmen at the ERI No. 1.

On this topic, Oleh SVIRNIUK, a community police officer of Nizhneverbizka territorial community of Kolomyia District Police Department of the National Police in Ivano-Frankivsk region, together with Ksenia YURTAIEVA, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1, conducted a lecture for students of the ERI No. 3.

Curator, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1 Yaroslav LYZOHUB held a meeting with cadets of the ERI No. 1 and discussed a number of important educational issues, including the problems of preventing and combating cases of domestic violence, gender-based violence, and the formation of intolerance to any manifestations of violence.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Criminology and Forensic Expertise of the ERI No. 1 Kateryna PENZIEVA held an online meeting with graduating students of Kamianets-Podilskyi Lyceum No. 7 and introduced them to the specialties in which KhNUIA trains specialists for the National Police units.

On this topic, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1, Tetiana SHEVCHUK, initiated an educational program for cadets. The goal is to develop the skills necessary for a critical perception of the information space, the safe use of modern technologies, and the effective operation of digital tools.

According to the results of the competitive tests dedicated to the 211th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko, the best performers who will represent the institute at the university level have been determined. In the nomination "Recitation of T. H. Shevchenko's works", the most talented reader was selected, who impressed the jury with a masterful performance of the poetry of the Great Kobzar.

Khmelnytskyi open championship in kettlebell sports of Khmelnytskyi region was held in the city of Khmelnytskyi, in which cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part. In the overall team standings, KhNUIA team took 1st place and was awarded the Cup.
