
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has managed to return 699 soldiers from Russian captivity. This was announced by Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko on August 15 during a joint briefing with representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, the Foreign Intelligence Service, and the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights.

The Head of the Student and Cadet Parliament of the Sumy Branch, a member of the Youth Council at the Sumy City Council Victoria Yarova and 2nd year cadet Vitalii Politov took part in the Youth Forum “Free to Dream”, which took place in Kyiv.

Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Yana Ponomarenko took part in a public discussion on the reconstruction of Kharkiv, which was initiated and conducted by the NGO Smart Media.

On the eve of the new academic year, a meeting of the Academic Council of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was held. At the beginning of the meeting, the Rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko presented a certificate of awarding the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation to Oleksandr Khan and awarded a diploma of Candidate of Law in Administrative Law and Procedure; Financial Law; Information Law to Dmytro Konstantynov.

Anton Chernikov, a lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3, Master of Sports of Ukraine in kickboxing, and Senior Police Lieutenant, conducted a training session with boxing elements with a combatant, war veteran, and graduate of the Faculty No. 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

The 2nd year cadets of Faculties 1 and 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs once again took part in a donor campaign. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, students of all faculties of the university have been actively involved in the volunteer movement, one of the areas of which is donation.

For the football team of Izium Children's Youth Sports School, which recently visited Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and met with the rector of the university Valerii Sokurenko, the department of social and humanitarian work of the university conducted a bus and walking tour of the city of Vinnytsia.

The head of the Driving School for Persons with Disabilities of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksandr Marunchak held a working meeting with the first deputy director of the Department of Social Protection of Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council Inna Komendatska.

The cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the training on first aid organized by the Ukrainian Red Cross Society. During the training modules, licensed trainers familiarized the participants with the algorithm of first aid, the procedure for cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and emergency actions in case of emergency.

These days, the Youth Day was celebrated internationally and in Ukraine. On this occasion, the curators of the faculties № 1-4 on educational work held a series of meetings with higher education students dedicated to the participation of young people in the development of Ukraine.
