On the eve of the National Flag Day and Independence Day of Ukraine, the university's creative teams visited the Territorial Medical Institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Khmelnytsky Region with a patriotic concert program. From September 17 to 21, 2024, the All-Ukrainian training "Dzhura - Police Officer" will be held for young people aged 15 to 18. The event is being implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Department of Youth and Sports of Kirovohrad Regional State Administration together with Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, Kirovohrad Regional Center for Tourism and Local History of Student Youth.

During the camp for freshmen, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held a video lecture "History and Traditions of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs". Cadets from remote locations of the university joined the event online.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Inna Yashchuk said on the air of the United News marathon that tomorrow, August 21, the Ministry of Internal Affairs' security and national-patriotic education lyceums will officially open their doors, where children of Ukraine's defenders will study from September 1.
