Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs have been actively involved in the volunteer movement. They weave camouflage nets, donate blood, make trench candles, visit and help the families of the victims and those in need.

On the day of the beginning of the new academic year, the Director of the Educational and Research Institute №5, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Oksana Brusakova and Doctor of History, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine Volodymyr Hrechenko handed over to the general library of the university the books they co-authored.

A constituent meeting of the guarantor of the educational and professional program of the second (master's) level of higher education in the field of knowledge 08 “Law”, specialty 081 “Law (Police)”, Doctor of Law, Professor Yurii Orlov with first-year students was held.

Yevheniia Hladkova, a leading researcher of the Research Laboratory for Social and Psychological Support and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Educational and Research Institute №3, together with a team of volunteers from the Palm of Peace Charitable Foundation, continue to help and provide humanitarian assistance to internally displaced persons.

Talented young people of the police university presented a patriotic concert program in the youth cultural and artistic project “Shchedryk Unites”, which promotes the culture of the Ukrainian people and promotes national and patriotic education of young people.

On August 29, the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine who died in the struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs presented the electronic “Book of Memory of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.”

At the first meeting of the group in the academic year 2024-2025, the Head of the Department, Doctor of Law, Professor Yurii Orlov made a welcoming speech, emphasizing the strategic importance of scientific support for combating crime by criminological and criminal law means.

The annual all-Ukrainian race is dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine who died in the struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and the 10th anniversary of the Ilovaisk tragedy.

At the meeting of the 1st year cadets of the ERI № 4, the guarantor of the educational program, Professor of the Department of Counteraction to Cybercrime Vitalii Nosov and Professor of the Department of Information Systems and Technologies Svitlana Luchyk presented to the applicants for higher education the curricula of the specialties “Cybersecurity and Information Protection (Security of Information and Communication Systems)” and “Information Systems and Technologies (Law Enforcement Information Systems)”.

Along with a great mood, the 2nd year cadets of the Educational and Research Institute No. 3 brought with them many useful things that are needed every day by the little residents of the orphanage, treated them to sweets and fruits. The children were happy to welcome the guests. The meeting was, as always, friendly and fun, because every pleasant communication leaves warm memories and good mood for both children and adults.
