
Volodymyr Hrechenko, Head of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Faculty № 6, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, took part online in the V International Scientific and Practical Conference "Education and science of today: intersectoral issues and development of sciences", which took place in Cambridge, UK.

Alina Ruzhynska, a participant of the School of Scientific Leadership, a 2nd year student of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in the youth summer school "Together to Success" held in Lviv region.

Krystyna Koval, a 3rd year cadet of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, participated in the NAСBU Anti-Corruption School 2023. A total of 592 applications were submitted for the Anti-Corruption School, but only 50 participants were selected from across the country.

At the invitation of Fundacion Tecnalia Research & Innovation (TECNALIA), coordinator of the Horizon 2020 project "iNteracting netwOrk of inTelligence and security practitiOners with iNdustry and acadEmia actorS " (NOTIONES), Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs signed a declaration developed by CYBERSPACE LEA, a cybersecurity law enforcement cluster.

Within the framework of the CRYPTOEDGE project, which is being implemented with the support of the US Embassy in Ukraine, Vitalii Nosov, Professor of the Department of Cybercrime Counteraction of the Faculty № 4, took part as an expert trainer in a series of trainings of the second stage of the course for investigators.

On July 30, Ukraine celebrates the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, which was established in 2013 by the United Nations General Assembly. Representatives of the Equal Opportunities team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in an online event organized by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR).

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted an information event dedicated to the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. It was attended by Vice-Rector of the University Anatolii Klochko, Anti-Trafficking Manager of the OSCE Support Program for Ukraine Nadiia Ostapchuk, Head of the Department of International Cooperation Olena Ustymenko, representatives of the Educational and Methodological Department, academic staff and students of the University.

Students majoring in Cybersecurity and Information Protection at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the webinar "Introduction to the Security Operation Center (SOC)" held as part of the USAID project "Cybersecurity of Ukraine's Critical Infrastructure".

Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law of the Faculty № 4 Andrii Voitsikhovskyi took part in a thematic lecture by a famous American lawyer, Professor Gregory Townsend on the topic "The Crime of Genocide under International Law", prepared by the Center for Civil Liberties within the framework of the Ukrainian Week of International Criminal Justice.

Maryna Petchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of the Faculty № 2, PhD in Economics, completed an internship at the Summer Economic School "Ukraine and the EU: Candidate Status and Prospects for European Integration" organized by the NGO "Ukrainian Association of International Economists" and Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.
