Dear applicants for higher education of KhNUIA! On October 9, 2023, the Leavitt Institute for International Development begins the fall semester of the course "Critical Thinking and Advocacy as the Foundation of a Free Society".
The Leavitt Institute for International Development (TLI) is an American nonprofit organization dedicated to training students and practicing lawyers who are well versed in Western legal ethics, think critically, and are able to apply Ukrainian law.

Within the framework of cooperation between Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine, the School of Scientific Leadership of the university held a class on "Intelligence-led policing (ILP) - a modern model of law enforcement. Analytics, analytical intelligence in making informed, effective and efficient management decisions".

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted an online meeting with representatives of the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine - the international manager of the Council of Europe project "HELP (Human Rights Education for Lawyers for Ukraine, including in Time of War)" Olha Kostenko, Senior Project Specialist Halyna Smirnova, and Project Officer Volodymyr Boriak.

Vasyl Korniienko, Head of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-medical Training of the Faculty No. 1, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, conducted a binary lecture in English for students of the University of Michigan, USA, in a zoom conference.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted an information event for higher education students. The main speaker was Nadiia Ostapchuk, Anti-Trafficking Manager of the OSCE Support Program for Ukraine. Olena Ustymenko, Head of the International Cooperation Department, familiarized the audience with the history of cooperation between Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the OSCE

 Olena Stativka, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, while on a business trip to Harmisch-Partenkirchen (Federal Republic of Germany), took part in a seminar on advanced training of English teachers.

Yuliia Zahumenna, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty of Law No. 1, and the 2nd year students of the Faculty of Law No. 1 have successfully completed the online course "Corruption-off: How to Combat Corruption Risks in Higher Education" on the EdEra educational platform as part of their curatorial work.

Yuliia Zahumenna, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty No. 1, took part in the VII Kharkiv International Legal Forum, in the panel discussion "Ukraine - European Union: Architecture and Dynamics of Integration" and in the workshop for young scientists "Life hacks for preparing and publishing research results".

With the assistance of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), 3-4 year cadets majoring in Cybersecurity and Information Protection have gained access to the RangeForce cloud-based interactive cybersecurity training platform.

In order to implement the Mayors for Economic Growth program funded by the European Union (EU), a business training "Grant Projects and Business Projects: From Idea to Implementation" was held. The event was attended by cadets from Faculties 1 and 4, Deputy Dean of Faculty 4 Yurii Onyshchenko, Professor of the Department of Cybercrime Svitlana Luchyk, and Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages Oleh Honcharuk.
