The II International Scientific and Practical Conference was held on this topic in Riga (Latvia), which was attended by Professor of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities and Crime Detection of the ERI No. 2, Candidate of Law, Senior Researcher Oleksii DEREVIAHIN, together with students.

A 2nd year student of the ERI No. 5 Daryna OMELCHENKO became the winner of the competition "Young Person of the Year - 2025" in the nomination "Physical Culture and Sports", which was held by the administration of Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv City Council.

Professor of the Department of Operational-Investigative Activities and Crime Detection of the ERI No. 2, Oleksii DEREVIAHIN, together with students, joined the work of the XXI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Science, Trends and Realities: Current Trends and Development", which was held in Krakow (Poland).

Deputy Director of the Institute Ella TVERDOKHLIB and Head of the Student Affairs Department of the Human Resources Department Maryna DAVYDOVA held an online career guidance meeting with graduates of lyceums and gymnasiums of the city of Kharkiv, Kharkiv region.

For 2nd year students of the ERI No. 5, studying in the specialty "Law", a binary lesson was held in the courtroom of Kamianets-Podilskyi City District Court. It was conducted by Judge Yurii MANTULIAK and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology Yulia MYTROFANOVA.

The Head of the circle, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Yurii CHALYI summed up the work of the circle for the 2024/2025 academic year and informed the participants about the directions of further scientific research, which are determined by the needs of updating the civil legislation of Ukraine.

The knowledge and skills gained during the internship were defended by the 4th year students of the ERI №5 majoring in Cybersecurity and Information Protection. To protect the materials of the internship, a commission was appointed, which included scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Cybersecurity and DATA Technologies.

Members of the examination committee of the ERI No. 5 conducted an online consultation before the comprehensive certification exam for higher education applicants of the ERI No. 5 who are completing their studies for the bachelor's degree in specialty 262 "Law enforcement activities".

Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 Alla SHYLINA completed a training course for trainers in providing psychological first aid with the participation of the European Union Advisory Mission for Reforming the Civil Security Sector of Ukraine.

A meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 5 was held, dedicated to the topic of the fight for the elimination of racial discrimination. Student Yevhenia KOZLOVA delivered a thematic report.
