
Olena DZHAFAROVA, Head of the Department of Administrative Activities of the ERI No.3, and Dmytro LESHCHENKO, Adjunct of the Department of Postgraduate (Adjunct) and Doctoral Studies, presented a joint report «The Dopamine System and Age-Related Factors in the Development of Addictions in Contemporary Society» at the 3rd International Congress on Judicial Sciences.

Representatives of the Educational and Research Institute No. 3 responded to the urgent need for blood plasma for the treatment and rehabilitation of wounded servicemen. They joined the donation at the Biopharma Plasma Medical Center.

Cadets of the ERI No. 3 took an active part in volunteer activities, joining the weaving of camouflage nets for the needs of defenders. The work required concentration, patience and team interaction.

On the eve of St. Nicholas Day «Holiday Support Workshop» of KhNUIA visited the subordinate children's institutions of Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi – and brought with it a New Year's miracle.

On the initiative of Olena FEDORENKO, Head of the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Pedagogy of the ERI No.3, and Volodymyr IVANTSOV, Head of the Department of Postgraduate Studies (Adjunct) and Doctoral Studies, a lecture was held on the topic «Learning Theory from the Constructivist Perspective» was conducted for PhD and Doctor of Sciences candidates of KhNUIA.

Representatives of scientific institutions and facilities of higher education of Ukraine and Estonia joined the information event «Next Steps after Submitting an Application» in the direction «Civil Security for Society».

Svitlana KHARCHENKO, Professor of the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Pedagogy of the Educational and Research Institute No.3, held an educational and preventive game «Stop Violence» with the cadets. The event was organized on the basis of the project «Program of Equal Opportunities and Rights of Women in Ukraine».

The competition was held in an atmosphere of team spirit and healthy competition. The participants demonstrated a high level of training, endurance and cohesion. The sports tournament gave young people positive emotions, strengthened team spirit and once again confirmed the important role of physical activity in the formation of future law enforcement officers.

As part of their volunteer activities, the cadets visited the family of a serviceman who is currently performing combat missions in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Future police officers brought and stacked firewood, helped clean the house and the surrounding area.

On the eve of St. Nicholas Day, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs has had a special tradition for many years — a meeting of the Rector and management with cadets and students who need special attention and support.
