
The European Universal Combat Championship was held in the city of Polovradi (Romania), in which cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs participated. According to the results of the competition, they demonstrated high results and took prizes.

Participants of the School of Scientific Leadership of KhNUIA joined the work of the International Scientific Conference "Neoliberal Decline Agenda" online, which was held at Adam Mickiewicz University in the city of Poznań (Republic of Poland).

Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights Oleksandr RADCHENKO, together with the Deputy Head of the Department for the Organization of the Activities of Temporary Detention Centers and Monitoring of Actions with Detainees of the Main Police Department in Vinnytsia Region Tetiana BASHCHENKO, held a lesson for first-year students of the ERI No. 2.

As part of his training at the Junior Commanders School, the university's Vice-Rector, Serhii BORTNYK, held a meeting with representatives of the ERI No. 2 and No. 3. The Vice-Rector focused on strict adherence to the law, discipline, the requirements of the Police Officer's Oath, statutes, orders, as well as the norms of morality, professional and service ethics.

Advanced training and participation in scientific conferences are important factors in the professional development of lecturers of higher education institutions. Modern requirements for the quality of the educational process, innovative trends in the field of science and technology necessitate constant updating of the knowledge of the teaching staff.

As part of a voluntary donation campaign, cadets of the ERI No. 2 donated blood and its components at Vinnytsia Regional Blood Service Center. Representatives of the Center noted the stable support from Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in ensuring supplies of donor blood.

A boxing match between the teams of the twin cities of Kharkiv and Poznan took place in Poznan (Poland). Kharkiv team included a cadet of the 1st year of the ERI No. 2, Danylo KRYZHANIVSKYI.

During the event, the issue of implementing the decisions of the Academic Council of KhNUIA for the first half of 2025, the status of the work of the Institute's Academic Council in the 2024-2025 academic year and ways to improve its activities under martial law were considered. The results of the implementation of the Plan of scientific research and development work, scientific research activities of cadets, and the work of scientific circles of the Institute's departments in the first half of 2025 were summarized.

The National Program Officer of the UNODC Program Office in Ukraine, Serhii RUDYI, conducted the second day of the training session for cadets. During the event, a wide range of issues were considered, including a comprehensive package of measures for the prevention of HIV, hepatitis and tuberculosis among people who inject drugs.

Curators of educational work of the Department of social and humanitarian work held a series of informational and educational conversations for students of Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-5 on the general topic "Ethics. Law. Information security".
