Cadets of the ERI No. 2 worked on the following issues: organizing and conducting a search for armed criminals as part of operational formation groups; tactics of actions of an assault group during the detention of armed criminals; features of the use of small arms and conducting fire defeat of armed criminals in an urbanized area; providing first aid.

Representatives of the Cadet Council of the ERI No. 2 of KhNUIA joined a public debate on the topic "The Necessity of Youth Policy in Wartime." The participants discussed the challenges faced by young people during martial law.

With the assistance of the International Cooperation Department, representatives of Educational and Research Institutes, Sumy branch, Kremenchuk Flight College, the Department of Language Training, the School of Scientific Leadership, and the Scientific Society of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the topical conversation with representatives of Razom for Ukraine.

2nd-year students of the ERI No. 2 and No. 3, studying in the specialty "Law Enforcement Activities", are actively mastering their future profession by joining the work of the Legal Clinic of KhNUIA in Vinnytsia.

Within the framework of the scientific circle of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines, cadets of the specialty D1 "Accounting and Taxation" are actively engaged in researching mechanisms for ensuring the financial security of socio-economic systems.

In early June, the children's camp "YaMariupol.Rodina" will begin its work. During the summer, hundreds of children, including those from the temporarily occupied territories, will be able to relax and improve their health here. Higher education students of KhNUIA joined the final stage of the camp's preparation – they carried out work on improving the territory on the eve of the opening of the new season.

Professor of the Department of Operational-Investigative Activities and Crime Detection of the ERI No. 2 Oleksii DEREVIAHIN, together with cadets of the ERI No. 1 Alla LAPCHENKO, Olesia RYKOLENKO and student of the ERI No. 5 Yehor KRYSHTAL, took part in the 1st International Scientific and Practical Conference "Modern Perspectives on Science and Economic Progress"

As part of the measures to support and physically rehabilitate war veterans, Ihor OSTROVSKYI, a senior lecturer at the Department of Special Physical Training of the ERI No. 2, conducted another specialized training session for a combat participant, a soldier of the 78th Separate Airborne Assault Regiment, Serhii OMAROV.

The students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, taking into account the security component, honored the memory of the fallen Ukrainian children with a minute of silence and put flowers at the memorial signs that immortalize the heroic resistance of Ukrainians and the memory of all victims of the war.

Curators of the Educational Work Department of the Social and Humanitarian Work held informational and educational talks for students of Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-5 on the occasion of the International Day of Innocent Children - Victims of Aggression.
