As part of the program to support and restore the physical fitness of the defenders of Ukraine, senior lecturer of the Department of Special Physical Training of the ERI No. 2 Ihor OSTROVSKYI conducted another individual training for a participant in hostilities, a serviceman of the 78th Separate Airborne Assault Regiment Serhii OMAROV.

Cadets of the ERI No. 4 practiced the tactics of the search group's actions to identify and detain persons who have escaped from custody: methods of conducting one-way, counter and combined searches; actions of police officers as part of small tactical groups in open areas; actions of police officers during the detention of armed criminals, etc.

Ihor BOIKO, a lecturer at the Department of Special Physical Training of the ERI No. 2, together with Dmytro NEVENHLOVSKYI, a senior coach of Kamianets-Podilskyi Youth and Sports School, conducted adaptive boxing training for war veteran Volodymyr MATIICHUK.

On this topic, a binary lesson for cadets of the ERI No. 4 was conducted by the head of the department of tactical and special training of the ERI No. 2, Mykola BOROVYK, and senior lecturer of the same department, Valerii SHVETS, together with the senior inspector of the training center of the Main Police Department in Vinnytsia region, Oleksii PATSALIUK.

Higher education students of the ERI No. 2 and No. 3 of KhNUIA became participants in the "Stusiv Readings" - a cultural and educational commemorative event that is traditionally held at Vinnytsia Regional Universal Scientific Library named after Valentyn Otamanovskyi. This year's meeting was dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the death of Vasyl Stus.

For students of the ERI No. 1-4, Sumy branch and Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, employees of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held an information and educational hour dedicated to the Day of the End of World War II.

During the camp, freshmen received increased attention from the university's psychological service specialists. Successful adaptation to the specific conditions of studying at a university is the first important step on the path to professional development of future police officers.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held events to mark Knowledge Day and the end of the camp for freshmen cadets in all cities of Ukraine, where the university's educational and scientific institutes were relocated.

The Ukrainian Cup in Hand-to-Hand Combat was held in Bucha, Kyiv Region, in which Yana SHELEMBA, a 2nd year cadet of Educational and Research Institute No. 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part. In a tense fight, she took 1st place in the 65 kg weight category.

The All-Ukrainian tournament "Young Ukraine Cup" in sambo wrestling among juniors, juniors, boys, older girls and cadets (sports and combat sections), which was held in the city of Uzhhorod, was attended by students of higher education from Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
