The School of Scientific Leadership, Faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs has been actively working for eight months. During this time, the participants, including first- and second-year cadets, faculty № 1, took part in 158 webinars, 51 courses, 44 scientific and practical conferences and sent essays, posters, videos to 61 national and international competitions.

A graduate of Faculty № 1 of KhNUIA in 2020, and now an interrogator of the inquiry sector of Kharkiv District Police Department № 1 of the MDNP in Kharkiv region, senior police lieutenant Daria Sechantsyna took part in the Open Grand Prix Kharkiv 2021 in bodybuilding, fitness, and athletics according to the WBPF.

The first-year cadets of the Faculty № 1 Polina Suslova, Anton Udovikov, Oleksandr Katrenko, Anton Aleksieiev, who are members of the Center of Social Projects of the School of Scientific Leadership of Faculty № 1, took part in the search for the missing person, organized by the public organization "Search team "Angel"". The search was conducted in Popovka village of Krasnohrad district, Kharkiv region.

The WTKA Kickboxing Championship of Ukraine took place in Kharkiv. Athletes from Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the competition. According to the results of the competition, the university athletes became winners of the championship.

Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Pre-Trial Investigation of the Faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksandr Yukhno and Associate Professor of the same department, Police Lieutenant Colonel Alina Piddubna held a remote meeting with representatives of the Department of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports and educational institutions of Blyzniuky village council of Lozova district of Kharkiv region.

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Expertology and Pre-Medical Training, Faculty No. 1, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police Major Kateryna Penzieva conducted a career guidance conversation by video conference with 11th-grade students of Krasnohrad Lyceum No. 2 of Krasnohrad City Council of Kharkiv region.

The 5th International Scientific and Practical Round Table "Modern Doctrine of Criminal Law in the Legal System of Ukraine: Concepts, Sources, Significance, Problems of Formation" was held online at the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University.

2nd-year cadets of the Faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs visited educational institutions in different cities of Ukraine, held meetings with management and students of graduating classes in compliance with quarantine requirements, told them about the university and their future profession as a police officer.

The Investigative Department of MDNP in Kharkiv region conducted advanced training courses for criminologists inspectors. At the invitation of the Head of the Criminal Support Unit of the Investigative Department, Police Lieutenant Colonel
Bohdan Burbelo, representatives of the pedagogical staff of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Expertology and Premedical Training of Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - Senior Lecturer of the Department Tetiana Bezsonna and Associate Professor of the Department Vasyl Korniienko - conducted classes on the courses.

Iryna Hohol, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty № 1, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, held a meeting of the scientific circle in English for 3rd-year cadets of the Faculty № 4 on the topic "Innumerable nouns in the scientific literature".
