
Diana Shpak, a first-year cadet of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a participant in the Scientific Leadership School, took part in the Test Drive personal effectiveness project from the Ivano-Frankivsk City Organization of the All-Ukrainian Youth Public Organization Foundation for Regional Initiatives.

Daria Fartushna, a 1st-year cadet of the Faculty of Scientific Leadership, took part in The Planet Awards international competition. In her work, prepared in English, the cadet noted that environmental issues have long confused the whole world. The situation that has developed recently, such as quarantine in the spring of 2019, deserves special attention.

Graduates of faculty No.1 of 2001 met at their native Alma Mater, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs 20 years later. It is nice to see each other again, remember unforgettable moments of study and carefree years of youth, communicate with the lecturers, see the classrooms where studies took place, and to make sure that life goes on and the University changes for the better.

Head of School of Scientific Leadership of Faculty No.1 Vitalii Naida and the participants of this School – cadets of Faculty No.1 Anna Terela and Oleksii Rachynskyi took part in the international video competition "My favorite word in German" organized by School of German Law of KAZGUU University after M.S. Narikbaiev.

At the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 1 of KhNUIA a meeting of the scientific circle on the topic "Sociolinguistic competence of foreign language communication" was held. Associate Professor Valentina Pochueva spoke about the essence and structure of sociolinguistic communicative competence.

A participant of School of Scientific Leadership of Faculty No.1, a first-year cadet of Faculty No.1 Krystyna Koval took part in an online courses "Green Light for the Earth", "National Preventive Mechanism", "Personal Data Protection" to improve self-education and master soft skills.

Representatives of the School of Scientific Leadership of the Faculty № 1 KhNUIA took part in the global essay competition from "The New York Times". In the essay it was necessary to write about a problem that worries and convince that its solution is really important for humanity.

The curators of the Legal Clinic of the Faculty № 1 held a meeting with representatives of active youth who oppose the spread of drugs in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv. Adolescents sought advice on safety and legality in their activities.

On the basis of Kharkiv Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, a scientific-practical seminar on "Essential problems of using special knowledge in criminal proceedings" was held. It was attended by representatives of the Department of Criminology, Forensic Science and Emergency Medical Assistance Training of Faculty 1 of National University of Internal Affairs.

Participants of the School of Scientific Leadership of Faculty No. 1 Maksym Kushch, Vladyslava Balera, Vadim Naumchyk, Ihor Sumin took part in an open lecture-discussion with NABU representatives. The cadets learned about the organization of the internal work of the law enforcement agency and had the opportunity to personally ask questions to the detective, who told about his own experience and internship opportunities for cadets/students.
