On August 24 this year, we celebrate the 31st anniversary of Ukraine's Independence. This is one of the most important and solemn holidays of our state, which is a symbol of national revival, spiritual freedom, economic growth and cultural elevation.

Dear colleagues, scientists and educators! Our country celebrates Independence Day. For all of us Ukrainians, this is a holiday that reflects our people's desire for unity and independence. Ukraine is our home, glorified by its rich history, traditions, cultural heritage, and the most important asset of the years of independence is a strong, united, mature nation.

On the eve of Independence Day of Ukraine, second-year cadets of the Faculty No. 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, with the assistance of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work, took part online in the round table "Independence of Ukraine: Achievements and Prospects", which took place on the basis of the Vinnytsia Regional Universal Scientific Library.

National Flag Day is a holiday of all generations of Ukrainians. Under the native flag, the Ukrainian people confirmed the age-old dream of statehood, cathedral unity and independence. The noble blue and yellow colors of the sky and wheat symbolize the great work of our people from the east to the west of Ukraine, from the north to the south. Patriotism, love for the Motherland, a sense of national unity is born in our hearts when the National Anthem sounds and the National Flag flies.

Oleksandr Skliar, a lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs completed the online course "Basic Psychological Assistance in War Conditions" on the Prometheus open platform, developed as part of the "Urgent EU Support for Civil Society" project, implemented by ISAR Union with the financial support of the European Union.
