
The Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights, with the assistance of the United Nations Development Program, organized a training for graduate students of the ERI No. 1 and No. 4 on the topic “Protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of people with disabilities in police activities and ethics of communication with them”.

The Head of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the ERI No. 5, Doctor of Law, Professor Yurii Zhornokui and Senior Lecturer of the same department Sophia Popova invited Yevhen Petrov, Judge of the Civil Court of Cassation of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, to conduct a binary class.

Certificates of completion of the training were received by the cadets of the ERI №4 Oleksii Navrotskyi, Denys Zherebko, Serhii Kucherenko, Ruslan Havryliuk, Anatolii Lazarenko, Pavlo Bokhanchenko, Volodymyr Bilyi, Yelyzaveta Horbunova, Vladyslav Petruk, Anastasiia Horbunova, Denys Vyshynskyi, Alina Sokura, Dmytro Zemliak, Daryna Vlasova, Ilia Isichko and Yuliia Nesterenko.

Artem Makarov received the award on September 17, 2024 during the celebrations on the occasion of the Rescuer's Day with the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. On the Day of Rescuer, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the personnel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, congratulated them on the holiday and awarded them with state awards.

The annual conference “Artificial Intelligence in Police Training” was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia in Tbilisi. Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was represented by Tetiana Matiushkova, Head of the International Cooperation Department (offline) and Oleksandr Manzhai, Head of the Department of Cybercrime Counteraction (online).

It was conducted by Daniel Krupelnytskyi, an inspector of the Community Relations Department of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, and Andrii Voitsikhovskyi, a professor at the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights.

An online meeting with Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine in biathlon Olena Petrova and international master of sports of Ukraine in powerlifting Anna Rykun, who is a graduate of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, was held for 1st year students of Sumy branch.

For the 2nd year students, Mykola Holub, Associate Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement at the ERI №5, together with Serhii Izotov, Deputy Head of the Department of District Police Officers of the Preventive Activity Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv Region, conducted a binary class on the discipline “Police Activity”.

Daryna Omelchenko, a 2nd year student of the ERI №5, won two first places in the Ukrainian Kickboxing Championship among juniors, boys and adults. Daryna is a candidate for the master of sports of Ukraine in Cossack combat.

For the students of the ERI No. 2, the classes were conducted by district police officers Valentyn Kharchuk and Ivan Ivaniv together with Kateryna Penzieva, a senior lecturer at the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Science.
