The Declaration was signed by Viktor Vasylenko, First Vice-Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and Dimitras Khomenko, Director of the State Police College of Latvia. This agreement aims to promote cooperation in the following forms: mutual study visits of representatives of the academic staff and students to exchange experience, exchange of scientific information, the latest teaching materials and articles for publication in scientific journals.

An exciting and informative game “Pride of the Nation” aimed at popularizing national heroes, historical events and modern achievements of Ukraine was held among the higher education students of Sumy branch of KhNUIA on the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. Interesting contests and intellectual questions for the participants were prepared by the student parliament.

On the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, higher education students of the Educational and Research Institutes №№ 1-4 competed in various sports: gymnastic and power complex, complex relay race “Police Quest”, tug of war.

Binary classes on the topic “Tactics of police officers in cooperation with the subject” were held. The students of the ERI No. 1 practiced stopping a vehicle, checking documents, and observing security measures while on duty. The students of the ERI No. 2 studied the tactical methods of handcuffing, methods of conducting a surface inspection.

The University Library has prepared a virtual exhibition “Red and Black” dedicated to the birthday of Dmytro Pavlychko, Hero of Ukraine, poet, translator, literary critic, publicist, Sixties activist, and social and political figure (September 28, 1929 - January 29, 2023).

Olena Lukianykhina, Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch, told the 2nd year students about international cooperation and anti-corruption education in the context of security challenges, which is carried out by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Sociology and Psychology Nadiia Chepelieva took a refresher course at the European University in Kyiv. They were devoted to the preservation of mental health, counteracting stress disorders and negative motivations in the family, at work, at home, etc.

Representatives of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines Olena Lukianykhina, Svitlana Vyhaniailo and Volodymyr Dementov underwent advanced training on the topic: “Psychodiagnostics in the interests of the efficiency of educational and public administration activities”.

Bohdan Honcharuk, Deputy Head of the Educational Security Service Sector of Khmelnytskyi Oblast National Police, together with Oksana Melnychuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of the ERI No. 4, conducted classes with second-year students of the ERI No. 1 majoring in Law.

Nataliia Olendra, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Language Training of KhNUIA, met with future graduates of Netishyn Academic Lyceum of Netishyn City Council of Shepetivka District, Khmelnytskyi Region. She told them about the conditions of admission to the police university.
