Ella Tverdokhlib, Deputy Director of the ERI No. 5, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, Iryna Siadrysta, Professor of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security, and Iryna Anton, Senior Lecturer of the Department, met with lyceum students on the topic of the 2025 admission campaign.

Oleksii Shumilo, Acting Head of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, together with first-year students, took part in a regular thematic lecture by judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on the topic “Judicial control over the restriction of the right to freedom in the context of the Decision of June 19, 2024 №7-r (II) /2024”.

A participant of the School of Scientific Leadership, cadet Ruslan Salohub, was selected for the scholarship program in two stages. At the first stage, he had to fill out a questionnaire, indicate his personal achievements and write a motivation letter. The next step was an interview in English with the deputy director of the Foundation's representative office.

For the students of the ERI No. 3, the lesson was conducted by Natalia Todorovska, a senior specialist-criminalist of the Criminalistics Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia region, together with Kateryna Penzieva, a senior lecturer at the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Science.

The Election Commission of the cadet and student self-government has started accepting applications for the position of the Chairman of the cadet and student Parliament of KhNUIA. Candidate registration will last from October 02 to October 16, 2024.

From October 2024 to March 2025, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, in cooperation with partners - the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine, Binance and Brama - is holding the All-Ukrainian competition “CYBER SECURITY CAMP” for applicants for higher education in Ukraine.

For applicants for higher education of the ERI No. 1, Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights Yevhenia Lohvynenko together with the investigator of the Department of Internal Affairs No. 1 in Borshchiv of Chortkiv District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Ternopil Region Vasyl Panasiuk conducted a lesson on the discipline “Constitutional Law” on the topic “The System of State Bodies of Ukraine”.

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI №2 Oleksandr Skliar has completed a number of training courses: “Features of the work of a psychologist officer in combat conditions“; ‘’Chameleon”. Avoidance of Captivity and Psychology of Survival in Captivity”; ‘The Wounded's Path to Acceptance of a New Self and Full Psychosocial Recovery’.

In a difficult time for the country, young people understand the challenges and choose the police profession. Energetic, intelligent and motivated young men and women have entered Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. This is their first step towards protecting their people and the state.

First Vice President of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Oleksandr Bandurka donated more than 100 copies of literature to the library. Among them are publications in all areas of law, psychology, history, etc.
