
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted an online information event on the topic: ‘The European Union's Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon Europe. Current competitions and partnership in project proposals in the area of Civilian Security for Society’.

Investigator of the Investigation Department of the Police Station No. 1 in the city of Borshchiv of Chortkiv District Police Department of the National Police in Ternopil Region, Vasyl Panasiuk, together with Vita Filipska, Associate Professor of the Department of Language Training of KhNUIA, and Larysa Sazanova, Senior Lecturer of the same department, conducted a binary lesson on the topic ‘Serve and Protect’ for fourth-year students of the ERI No. 1.

Representatives of the student-cadet Parliament of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - second-year cadets Vitalii Politov, Kostiantyn Polishchuk, Maksym Kholod and Vasyl Mykhailenko - have once again become donors. The guys are well aware that their blood can save the lives of defenders and civilians in trouble.

The Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko handed over humanitarian aid from the university staff to the Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv Region Volodymyr Tymoshko for one of the units of the National Police of Kharkiv region.

4th year cadets of the ERI # 3 Anastasia Medvedkina, Bozhena Kovalenko, Anzhelika Vulvach and 3rd year cadet of the ERI # 3 Roman Komarov joined the team of volunteers of the Made in Ukraine Business Forum held at Kyiv Art Arsenal.

The creative teams of the university once again visited people with disabilities who need attention and support. The drummers and the amateur group presented positive emotions, a piece of their warmth and soul to the residents of Zhmerynka Psychoneurological Residential Care Home.

Investigator of Pervomaiskyi District Police Department of Mykolaiv Region Victoria Bila together with Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of the ERI №3 Valentyna Yatsenko conducted a class for the first-year students of the ERI №1. They studied the composition of administrative offences, found out their connection with criminal offences, etc.

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the training on ‘Sexual Violence during Armed Conflict’, which took place in Uzhhorod. During the training, the participants analysed the legal framework of both domestic and international legislation applicable during armed conflict, considered the facts of sexual violence with a focus on Ukraine.

Cadets of the ERI # 2 Alina Bilichenko, Yelyzaveta Zhuk, Oleksandr Maltsev, Maksym Yavorskyi and the lecturers of the Department of Investigative Activities and Crime Solution Iryna Shynkarenko and Valerii Temriienko took part in a workshop on the topic ‘Use of Open Sources of Information (OSINT) in Criminal Proceedings’.

Veronika Beretska, psychologist of the personnel support sector of Kharkiv Police Department 3, and Svitlana Kharchenko, professor of the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Pedagogy at the ERI No. 3, conducted a binary lecture on the discipline ‘Workshop on General Psychology’ for 2nd year cadets studying in the speciality ‘Psychology’.
