
This was the topic of a two-day training for the management of the National Police of Ukraine conducted by EUAM Ukraine, in particular Gender Adviser Anette Schwitzke, Police Adviser Georgina Magnussen and Human Rights Training Expert Yuliia Petrova, with the participation of trainer from the JurFem company, lawyer Marta Pavlyshyn.

The Director of the ERI №5 Oksana Brusakova congratulated the 2nd year student Daryna Omelchenko, who won the Ukrainian Kickboxing Championship among juniors, boys and adults and won two gold medals. Daryna is a candidate for Master of Sports of Ukraine in Cossack combat.

Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights Andrii Voitsikhovskyi has successfully completed an online course on international humanitarian law and human rights, developed within the framework of the Council of Europe's HELP programme (Human Rights Education for Lawyers).

An open lecture on the topic ‘Investigation of war crimes by police investigators during the war’ was held for higher education students by Serhii Bolvinov, Deputy Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv Region - Head of the Investigation Department, PhD in Law.

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology Yulia Mytrofanova introduced the second-year students of the ERI №5, who are studying in the speciality ‘Law’, to the concepts and main types of bullying and cyberbullying, typological features of the victim, bully and witnesses as direct participants in the bullying.

Mykhailo Ryzhkov, investigator of Kamianets-Podilskyi Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi region, and Olena Horash, lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, conducted a class on ‘Criminal offences against public safety, public order and morality’ for first-year cadets of the ERI No. 1.

For the first-year students of the ERI No. 4, a binary lesson on the discipline ‘Police Deontology’ was conducted by Victoria Bila, an investigator at the Investigation Department of the Police Department No. 1 of Pervomaiskyi District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Mykolaiv Region, and Olena Yushkevych, an associate professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law.

As part of the joint project of the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the second stage of the training for trainers on the basics of cyber hygiene took place. The participants of the training from the University were Vasyl Luchyk, Professor of the Department of Cybercrime Counteraction of the ERI №4, and Svitlana Luchyk, Professor of the Department of Information Systems and Technologies of the ERI №4.
