The students of the master's degree programme of the ERI No. 1, Yehor Skurykhin and Alina Lomova, the cadet of the ERI No. 2, Dmytro Shelesko and a lecturer of the Department of Special Physical Training of the ERI No. 2, Anton Chernikov, are at the training camp in Bangkok (Thailand), where they are preparing for the European Muay Thai Boxing Championships in the Republic of Kosovo.

Professor of the Department of Language Training of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleh Honcharuk held a career guidance event at the Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council, which was attended by the Head of the Department of Education and Science of Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council Serhii Melnyk and directors of general secondary education institutions of the city.

An educational event for the cadet group of the ERI No. 1 dedicated to the 30th anniversary of KhNUIA as a university was held by Professor Yuliia Zahumenna, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law. The lecture covered the historical development of the university, its achievements and role in training personnel for the law enforcement system of Ukraine.

It was held by Svitlana Lozova, Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor, on the topic ‘Research of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues and precursors and their impact on the human psyche’ together with Svitlana Chernolohova, Chief Forensic Expert of Kharkiv Scientific Research Forensic Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Associate Professor of the Department of Language Training of KhNUIA Valentyna Kochyna during the lesson on ‘Police equipment. Vehicles’ discussed with the second-year cadets of the ER №1 the types of vehicles used by police units of foreign countries and a number of issues in the field of patrol police in the USA, Great Britain and Canada.

It was conducted by Viktoriia Veliieva, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of the Institute of Economics and Business, together with Valerii Temrienko, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities and Crime Solution of the ERI No. 2. The lecturers highlighted certain aspects of criminal offences that may be committed during an audit.

Associate Professor of the Language Training Department of KhNUIA Vita Fylypska and Senior Lecturer of the same department Larysa Sazanova considered the issue of writing an abstract for a scientific article and the use of abbreviations and acronyms in scientific legal literature.

The third-year students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs were taught by Natalia Reznik, Head of the Oranta insurance organisation, together with Svitlana Vyhaniailo, Acting Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, and Mykola Lukianov, a lecturer at the same department.

Ella Tverdokhlib, Deputy Director of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 of KhNUIA, and Dmytro Zaiats, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics and Forensics, presented the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 to the final year students and class teachers of Novovodolazhskyi Lyceum No. 3.

Lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI №2 Serhii Tiahai and Mykhailo Bambuliak together with the Chief of Staff of the TRO Battalion Oleh Myshchyshyn conducted a lesson on providing first aid according to the M.A.R.C.H. algorithm for the 3rd year cadets of the ERI №1.
