A binary lesson on "Examination of documents and detection of signs of forgery" was held for the students of the initial professional training of police officers of the Institute of Postgraduate Education. It was conducted by Viktor Sezonov, Deputy Head of the Department of Forensic Vehicle Examination and Registry Management of Kharkiv Scientific Research Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and Oleksandr Yukhno, Professor of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Premedical Assistance of the Faculty No. 1.

On June 21, 2024, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs will host the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual Problems of Modern Science in the Research of Young Scientists, Cadets and Students".

The Dean of the Faculty, Lieutenant Colonel of Police Mykola Marchuk congratulated the cadets who took part in the Ukrainian championships in kickboxing WAKO and martial arts - self-defense combat ICO. According to the results of the competition, they became winners: 1st year cadet Artem Oliinyk - first place, 2nd year cadets - Yelyzaveta Onishchenko, Mykhailo Bihdan, Vladyslav Pashchenko - second place.

Employees of the Patrol Police Response Unit in Kamianets-Podilskyi together with representatives of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty № 3 conducted a binary lesson for 2nd year cadets of the Faculty № 4 to improve their tactical medicine skills.

The sports marathon of competitions between cadets of 1-3 courses, which was held to popularize sports among cadets, their military-patriotic education, development of physical and moral and volitional qualities as future officers of the National Police of Ukraine, has ended. In the final part of the marathon, the cadets competed in a tug-of-war.

The Ukrainian Association of Women Law Enforcement Officials (UAWLE) together with Canadian partners Police Stabilization Project initiated and conducted an offline workshop "Gender-Sensitive Leadership in Police and Law Enforcement", which was attended by more than 60 members of the association, law enforcement officers from different regions of the country, representatives of the international community.

The Ukrainian WAKO kickboxing championship was held in Bila Tserkva, in which higher education students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part and won prizes. The athletes were trained for the competition by the lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3 - Police Captain Dmytro Konstantynov and Senior Police Lieutenant Anton Chernikov.

Lecturers of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continue to be trained as part of the course "Training of Trainers in the Training of Risks Associated with Explosive Objects".

Leading researcher of the research laboratory on the problems of psychological support of law enforcement activities of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, police captain Yevhenia Hladkova together with representatives of the Palms of Peace Charitable Foundation handed over humanitarian aid to employees of the municipal enterprise "Zhylkomservis" in Kharkiv. 

On May 15, 2024, at 11.00 a.m. in aud. 3406 will be held an open lecture on the discipline "Criminal Procedure" for third-year cadets of the Faculty № 2 on the topic "Jurisdiction and preparatory court proceedings". The lecture will be given by Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation Oleksandr Khan.
