Another regular session of the School of Scientific Leadership on the topic "Problems of Criminal Law Protection and Regulation of the Activities of Police Officers during their Participation in the Armed Conflict" was held. At the age of 89, Police Colonel, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Honored Lecturer of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Yevhen Alexandrovich Zhelezov died. In 1958 he graduated from Kharkiv Law Institute, after which he worked in the internal affairs bodies of Kherson and later Kharkiv regions.

At the initiative of the Director of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 Oksana BRUSAKOVA, students, lecturers and employees of the institute held regular charity fundraiser in support of the personnel of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after the Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko, who defend Ukraine on the front line with courage and invincibility.

On the eve of the New Year and Christmas holidays, cadets and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs visited military personnel undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in medical institutions. The purpose of the – meetings is to support those who defend Ukraine and to give an atmosphere of celebration, warmth and care.

Employees of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held informational and educational hours for cadets of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-4, Sumy branch and Kremenchug Flight College on the eve of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Employees of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 together with instructors of the brigade of NGU "Chervona Kalyna" conducted an intensive practical lesson on the organization of defensive combat for cadets of graduation courses.
