
Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1 Ksenia YURTAIEVA completed the online course "International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights". The course was developed by the Council of Europe within the framework of the Human Rights Education Program for Legal Professionals (HELP).

Dmytro SLYNKO, Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, held an online meeting with students and teaching staff of the municipal institution "Kharkiv Lyceum No. 138 of Kharkiv City Council" on the topic "Features of Studying at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs."

A binary lesson on this topic was held for second-year students of the ERI No. 1 in the academic discipline "International Law" by Andrii VOITSIKHOVSKYI, professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights, and Viktoriia BILA, investigator of the investigative department of the Investigative Division No. 1 of Pervomaiskyi District Police Department of the Main Police Department of Mykolaiv Region.

With the assistance of the International Cooperation Department of KhNUIA, Olena HORASH, a lecturer at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1, together with representatives of EUAM in Ukraine, conducted optional classes for second-year cadets of the ERI No. 4 on the topics: "Vulnerable Victims and Witnesses" and "Criminal Analysis".

Director of the ERI No. 5 Oksana BRUSAKOVA and Deputy Director Ella TVERDOKHLIB remotely presented Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs to the lyceum students, focusing on the specifics of admission and its Educational and Research Institutes.

At the invitation of the youth policy department of Vinnytsia City Council, the cadets, together with the Head of the cadet council of the ERI No. 2, Maksym KUCHERIAVYI, took part in completing humanitarian aid for children from the city of Balakliia in Kharkiv region. This is another volunteer action that unites the regions of Ukraine and its people into one invincible whole.

In order to strengthen the practical training of higher education applicants, a 5-day training course according to the standards of the CLS level TSSS (fighter-rescuer) has started at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with the assistance of the NGO "All-Ukrainian Association "Patriot".

The exhibition is dedicated to the Heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian war, in whose honor streets in Ukrainian cities were named or renamed. The Rector of the university, Police General of the third rank Valerii SOKURENKO noted that during the military aggression of Russia against Ukraine it is extremely important not to forget about those who defended and are defending our cities.

On this topic, Olena SHAKHOVA, Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, held an online lecture for psychologists of penitentiary institutions in Ukraine.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1 Kseniia YURTAIEVA acquainted high school students with the history of the creation of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the features of admission, and focused on the specialties in which the university trains cadets and students.
