Vasyl LUCHYK, Professor of the Department of Combating Cybercrime of the ERI №4 of KhNUIA, held an online career guidance meeting with 11th grade students of Vasyl Ravliuk Vovchkiv Lyceum in Kolomyia district, Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Svitlana VYHANIAILO, Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, joined the online educational course “OSINT - Open Source Intelligence and Information Security”.

Olha KYRYCHENKO, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Process of the ER №3, held a career guidance meeting with the graduating students of Kherson Lyceum №6 of Kherson City Council. The representative of the department provided information on the conditions of admission to the university, familiarized with the specialties in which specialists are trained at KhNUIA.

The Bar Council of Kharkiv Region held a scientific and practical discussion table “Practice of applying the legislation on compensation to owners of housing destroyed or damaged as a result of Russian armed aggression against Ukraine”. The event was attended by the academic staff of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the ERI No. 5.

Vitalii KAVKALO, Head of the Human Rights Compliance Sector of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department, told 1st-year law students about the main functions of the service and how the Custody Records project raises human rights standards.

Serhii HIRENKO, Deputy Director for Educational and Research Activities of the Educational and Research Institute #2, Professor Iryna SIEVIDOVA, Head of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines, and Viktoriia VELIEVA, Associate Professor of the same department, spoke with the lyceum students remotely.

The meeting on the topic “Human and civil rights under the legal regime of martial law” was held offline and online. Illia PAVLOV, a 1st year student of the ERI №5, made a report “Restrictions of human rights under martial law”, and Yevhen NOVIKOV, a 1st year cadet of the ERI №4, presented an essay “Peculiarities of protecting the rights of the child under the legal regime of martial law”.

During the meeting, Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police General of the third rank Valerii SOKURENKO urged young men and women to be persistent in achieving their goals, not to be afraid of difficulties and to take a responsible approach to choosing their future profession.

Within the framework of the project “Books for Heroes” of the Department of Education and Science of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, representatives of Sumy branch of KhNUIA visited one of the medical institutions where servicemen are undergoing rehabilitation and handed over books by Ukrainian and foreign writers.
