Primary vocational training courses for police officers in the field of “Special Police” (qualification “Police Support Units”) have begun at KhNUIA. Within six months, 30 people, who joined the police for the first time, would acquire professional knowledge and practical skills.

The instruction on compliance with the requirements of fire safety rules was given to the students of the faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who live in dormitories on the territory of the University. 

The risk of drug abuse by adolescence always exists. And this fact is extremely confusing both for parents, teachers and law enforcement officials. The aim of the pilot project, which started at the end of September, is to protect the youth from bad habits and inform them about the harmful effects of dangerous substances usage.

The KRO (Kharkiv region organization) PST (Physical sport team) «Dynamo», track and field cross championship took place, in which cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part. The competition was held on the basis of the HONP (Head Office of the National Police) Training Center in Kharkiv region.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is always at the forefront of reforms implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. In order to educate a police officer, who would meet the requirements of today, would be able to perform tasks of any complexity, it is necessary to improve the educational process, material and technical base, strengthen the practical component of training, educational work.

The event that develops the national identity of the young people "I am Ukrainian!" was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with the support of the Department of Youth and Sports of Kharkiv Regional State Administration and the Coordinating Council for National Patriotic Education of Kharkiv Regional State Administration.

Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the Faculty № 6 Oleksandr Kukharev and Poltava District Court Judge of Poltava region, teacher of the National School of Judges in Ukraine Stella Tsibizova conducted a binary lesson for students in the subject "Inheritance Law" on "Inheritance under will".

Scientific circle meeting Department of Legal Support and Economic Activity of the faculty № 6, which was attended by 3rd year students studying in the educational-professional program 072 "Finance,Banking and Insurance" (financial security and financial investigations), was devoted to academic integrity.

A regular meeting of the Academic Council was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The Deputy Chief - Chief of the Investigation Department in Kharkiv region, Colonel of Police Serhii Chyzh took part in it. At the beginning of the meeting Rector of the University, Colonel of Police Dmytro Shvets awarded the University staff.
