
Nataliia Rastorguieva, a cadet of the faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and Oleksandr Zahummenyi, an adjunct of the Department of Organization of Educational and Scientific Training, completed a course at the International Autumn Law School 2020 “Combating cybercrime in accordance with European standards of justice”.

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs were among the winners of the district stage of the municipal competition “The Young Person of the Year – 2020”. Serhii Holub, a Head of the Committee for Family, Youth and Sports in Slobidskyi District of the Department for Family, Youth and Sports of Kharkiv Municipal Council congratulated winners and presented awards to them.

A meeting of the scientific circle of the Criminal Procedure, Forensic Science and Expertise Department of the Faculty №6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took place.

The second-year cadets of Faculty № 4 together with the Head of the Foreign Languages Department of Faculty № 1 Olena Orlova took part in the webinar "Domestic Violence: Raising Awareness and Best Practices" organized by the University's International Cooperation Department with the support of the European Union Advisory Mission in Ukraine.

The first meeting of the Student Scientific Society was held at the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The leader of the Society, senior lecturer of the department Tetiana Kalchenko acquainted the participants with the Regulations of the Society and the work plan for the academic year.

Vasyl Nazarenko, Head of the Activity Support Department of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and Police Captain Roman Kotsar held the fire safety training and the workshop on actions in case of fire, for cadets to raise their awareness of fire prevention.

Primary vocational training courses for police officers in the field of “Special Police” (qualification “Police Support Units”) have begun at KhNUIA. Within six months, 30 people, who joined the police for the first time, would acquire professional knowledge and practical skills.

The instruction on compliance with the requirements of fire safety rules was given to the students of the faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who live in dormitories on the territory of the University.

The risk of drug abuse by adolescence always exists. And this fact is extremely confusing both for parents, teachers and law enforcement officials. The aim of the pilot project, which started at the end of September, is to protect the youth from bad habits and inform them about the harmful effects of dangerous substances usage.
