The election of the chairman of cadet and student government was held in the Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in compliance with the quarantine requirements. Candidates for the position were Iryna Tkachenko, 2nd year student, and Maryna Gaidar, 3rd year student, who presented their electoral programs.

Quarantine restrictions are not a destiny, but a possibility to improve and introduce new ideas. A “green” lesson within the context of a study of a discipline “Ukrainian Language of Profession Direction” was conducted for the first-year cadets of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

A meeting of the scientific cicle of students of the Department of Fundamental and Legal Disciplines of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was held under the leadership of Natalia Pistrenko, the lecturer of the department. 

Teachers of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the Faculty № 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs visited the library of the university and congratulated its employees on their professional holiday “All-Ukrainian Day of the Library”. 

The election of the chairman of cadet and student government of the university has taken place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Candidates for this position have presented their electoral programs with suggestions about the activity of the youth association for 2020–2021 academic year.

Nataliia Rastorguieva, a cadet of the faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and Oleksandr Zahummenyi, an adjunct of the Department of Organization of Educational and Scientific Training, completed a course at the International Autumn Law School 2020 “Combating cybercrime in accordance with European standards of justice”.

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs were among the winners of the district stage of the municipal competition “The Young Person of the Year – 2020”. Serhii Holub, a Head of the Committee for Family, Youth and Sports in Slobidskyi District of the Department for Family, Youth and Sports of Kharkiv Municipal Council congratulated winners and presented awards to them.

A meeting of the scientific circle of the Criminal Procedure, Forensic Science and Expertise Department of the Faculty №6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took place.

Associate professors of the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity of the Faculty № 6 Iryna Vasylko, Artem Podorozhniy together with students of several groups took part in the webinar "New Minimal Salary of UAH 5,000: what is with transitional payments and what is to adjust now" and received certificates.

The second-year cadets of Faculty № 4 together with the Head of the Foreign Languages Department of Faculty № 1 Olena Orlova took part in the webinar "Domestic Violence: Raising Awareness and Best Practices" organized by the University's International Cooperation Department with the support of the European Union Advisory Mission in Ukraine.
