The second-year cadets of Faculty № 4 together with the Head of the Foreign Languages Department of Faculty № 1 Olena Orlova took part in the webinar "Domestic Violence: Raising Awareness and Best Practices" organized by the University's International Cooperation Department with the support of the European Union Advisory Mission in Ukraine.

Liviu Velicza, Adviser/Trainer on Community Policing  (EUAM Field Office in Kharkiv) shared his experience of working in the Hungarian police. The speaker identified the types of domestic violence, the rules for inquiring witnesses, especially children, as well as the ways of investigating such crimes. The cadets were interested in the police activities of other European countries and the counselor's recommendations on combating and preventing domestic violence. Communication with the experienced law enforcement professionals today is the key to success in the future.
