Scientific achievements of the students of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs have been supplemented by a new significant result. Student Oleksandr Volobuiev, under the guidance of Olha Avramova, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure, won the All-Ukrainian Student Paper Competition in the category "Originality of a Scientific Idea" in the specialty "Intellectual Property" for his research paper "Copyright Protection of an Avatar".

Serhii Ablamskyi, Head of the Department of Scientific Activity Organization and Intellectual PropertyProtection, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, and Tetiana Matiushkova, Chief Researcher of the Research Laboratory for Scientific Support of Law Enforcement and Quality of Training, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, took part in the seminar "Improving Response, Documentation and Investigation of Domestic Violence".

Volodymyr Kroitor, Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the Faculty No. 6, took part in the VII International Forum "Mediation and Law" held on the ZOOM platform. He attended events on the following topics: "Singapore Convention: Prospects for Ratification"; "Communication: How and Why? Specifics of Mediation Communication"; "Implementation of the Law of Ukraine on Mediation: Priorities of Wartime and Post-War"; "Peculiarities of Non-Verbal Communication".

Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of the Faculty No. 2, Candidate of Economic Sciences Maryna Petchenko took part in a round table on the topic "The use of artificial intelligence in education: ChatGPT and more".

The Equal Opportunities Team joined the online expert legal and practical discussion of draft laws related to the implementation of the Istanbul Convention, organized by the Inter-Factional Deputy Association together with the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy Kateryna Levchenko and the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine.

Maryna Petchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of the Faculty № 2, PhD in Economics, completed an internship at the Summer Economic School "Ukraine and the EU: Candidate Status and Prospects for European Integration" organized by the NGO "Ukrainian Association of International Economists" and Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.

Iryna Kyrieieva, Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security, has successfully completed the International Training Program for Heads of Educational and Scientific Institutions, as well as Pedagogical and Scientific and Pedagogical Staff "Together with Nobel Laureates: Values, Experience, Knowledge, Competencies and Technologies for the Formation of a Successful Personality and Transformation of the World Around".

Larysa Sazanova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty No. 4, took part in the X International Scientific and Practical Online Conference "Science and Technology: Problems, Prospects and Innovations" (Osaka, Japan) and presented the article "Practices of second language grammar teaching in higher educational establishments"

The Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1, Doctor of Law, Professor Yurii Orlov, and a professor of the same department, Doctor of Law, Professor Andrii Yashchenko, became part of the team of researchers who won the competition for research and development projects "Science for the Reconstruction of Ukraine in the War and Postwar Periods" initiated by the National Research Foundation of Ukraine.

The regional training "Train-the-Trainers course - Level 2 (advanced)", organized by the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL) within the framework of the TOPCOP project "Training and Operational Partnership against Organized Crime", took place in Budapest (Hungary).
