During the celebrations for the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, employees and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs were awarded.

In early September, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs team, which included cadets of the ERI No. 2 Milena TSVIETKOVA, Polina DIAKOVA, Yevhen NOVIKOV, Svitlana SHAPOVALOVA, ERI No. 1 Diana KOROTKA and ERI No. 4 Ivan ANDRIIENKO, won a grant to implement the “Financial Patrol” project.

On the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, in order to honor the heroism and courage of our soldiers, the curator, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Oksana MELNYCHUK held an educational hour for cadets of the ERI No. 4. A soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (call sign "Krot") was invited to the event.

On this topic, employees of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held information and educational hours for higher education students of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-5, Sumy branch and Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine.

The Department of Social and Economic Disciplines held curatorship hours, during which the cadets, together with the curators, spoke about the historical and contemporary significance of this day, honored the memory of the deceased with a minute of silence, and expressed gratitude to those who are currently defending the country.

On the initiative of the Director of the ERI No. 4 Mykola MARCHUK, a meeting of cadets and students took place with the famous Ukrainian athlete, businessman, public figure and founder of the unique "Museum of the Formation of the Ukrainian Nation" Valerii HALAN.

Within the framework of informal (non-formal) education, cadets actively develop scientific activities and present the results of their own research at the international level. Participation in such events contributes to the formation of a modern scientific worldview, the development of research skills and professional competencies of future law enforcement officers.

Curator of the 4th year of the ERI No. 4, senior lecturer of the Department of Language Training Larysa SAZANOVA held an informative conversation with students on the topic "Library - a temple of wisdom and science." The participants discussed the history of the emergence of libraries, starting from the times of Kyivan Rus. The lecturer paid special attention to the comparison of traditional libraries with modern ones.

A career orientation event was held at Kamianets-Podilskyi Lyceum No. 15, organized by representatives of the ERI No. 4, the purpose of which was to familiarize students with the profession of a police officer, the specialties taught at the university, and modern challenges in the field of cybersecurity.

The Heads of the Educational and Research Institutes congratulated the cadets who demonstrated high results in athletics, WAKO kickboxing and kettlebell lifting. They took prizes in all-Ukrainian and regional competitions.
