The academic and teaching staff of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA took part in the online webinar "How to set up a task-based lesson" for English teachers from the Language Center "Polyglot".

For millions of people, Christmas and New Year's holidays are a time they spend with family and friends. Unfortunately, today Ukraine is at war and not everyone can celebrate the holidays with their families. But despite all the hardships, we are all united by the desire to be happy, successful, independent, live in peace and harmony, and to win the victory over the enemy. The cadets and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs wish you happy New Year's holidays.

During the event, which was held by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty for Educational and Methodological Work Yurii Onyshchenko, the participants elected 32 delegates to the conference of KhNUIA staff, and also summarized the results of the main activities of the Faculty for 2023

Yuliia Bortnyk, a lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty №4, attended the international online webinar "A GPS for learning: using formative assessment to track progress" by Cambridge Assessment English, which focused on the use of formative assessment to track student progress.

On the eve of the New Year holidays, active youth of Kamianets-Podilskyi organized a charity event to raise funds for children in difficult life circumstances. The event was held in the format of a stream on the Twitch platform, with cybersecurity provided by Artur Bakitskyi, a 4th year cadet of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA.

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs of Ukraine took part in the all-army competition "Best Invention of the Year" organized by the Central Research Institute of Arms and Military Equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Nataliia Filipska, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Constitutional and International Law of the Faculty № 4, conducted two two-day trainings on "Protection of the rights and legitimate interests of people with disabilities in police work and ethics of communication with them" for police officers of the Preventive Sector of the Main Department of the National Police in Zaporizhzhia and Sumy regions.

For the 4th year cadets of the Faculty № 4, Olena Horash, a lecturer at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty № 1, conducted a binary lesson on the discipline "Criminal Executive Law" on the topic "Procedure and conditions for the execution of punishments not related to imprisonment".

Valentyna Kochyna, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA, senior lecturers of the same department Larysa Sazanova and Artem Bilousov took part in the International online webinar "Reading on from phonics: How to create fluent and independent primary readers" from Pearson.

The management of the Faculty together with the cadets considered a number of topical issues, including strict adherence to the rule of law and official discipline, principles and rules of academic integrity. The cadets were reminded of the standards and procedures for its observance, told about the essence, main types of violations of academic integrity and responsibility under the current legislation.
