During a practical lesson on the topic "Protection from attack and forcible detention of an armed offender", the cadets of the ERI No. 4 improved the technique of protection against threats with cold weapons or improvised means (on the right and left sides), as well as protection against threats with firearms (on the right and left sides).

Curators of educational work of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held informational and educational talks for students of Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-5 on the topic "The Greatness of the Word: Speech Culture of a Developed Person". They discussed with cadets and students the culture of speech, sources and methods of its formation.

During the lesson on the topic "Police tactics when searching for an armed criminal", cadets of the ERI No. 2 and the scientific and practical circle of the TST "SHIELD" department practiced practical exercises on searching for an armed criminal, inspecting structures under conditions of probable fire contact with a criminal, as well as moving a small tactical police group.

Higher education students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs had the opportunity to talk with their idol. Oleksandr talked about his path in sports, what inspires and motivates him to win, and emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline not only in sports, but also in everyday life in order to achieve success and significant results.

Research and pedagogical workers of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2, together with the head of the "Sports Orienteering" club of Vinnytsia Regional Center for Technical Creativity of Student Youth, conducted a lesson for cadets of the ERI No. 4.

The Ukrainian Boxing Championship among men and women (elite) was held in Odesa, which took place from March 9 to 16. The competitions were attended by higher education graduates of the Educational and Research Institute No. 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Second-year cadet Diana DZIUBA and first-year student Kira DZIUBA took 3rd place in their weight categories.

Professor of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 Dmytro VLASENKO and lecturer of the same department Oleh YANKOVSKYI have undergone the course "Training of instructors in training in risks associated with explosive objects" within the framework of cooperation with the international organization The HALO Trust in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian championship in hand-to-hand combat among adults was held in the city of Bucha. The competition was dedicated to the memory of the Hero of Ukraine, Major General Maksym SHAPOVAL. The championship was attended by a 1st-year cadet of the Educational and Research Institute No. 2 Yana SHELEMBA. In a tense fight, the girl won the title of champion of Ukraine.

Mykhailo INSHEKOV, a lecturer at the Department of Special Physical Training of the ERI No. 2, told future applicants about the peculiarities of admission to KhNUIA, the areas of training for higher education applicants in educational and scientific institutes of the university, employment prospects and professional self-realization in practical units of the National Police.

With the participation of representatives of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine at all locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, an online meeting was held with the participant of hostilities, athlete, writer, showman, student of the master's degree of the ERI No. 5 Oleksandr BUDKO (call sign "Teren").
