The 2nd year cadets of the ERI No. 4 mastered the skills of using trench tools to equip positions, practiced choosing a place for their equipment, and also learned the principles of countering enemy UAVs and kamikaze drones in conditions of massive use of such means by the enemy. Special attention was paid to the issues of engineering equipment and masking positions.

A practical binary lesson was held on this topic for cadets of the ERI No. 1, who study in the specialty "Law", organized by the senior lecturer of the ERI No. 2, Ihor OSTROVSKYI. It was attended by the senior inspector of the patrol police battalion for servicing Kamianets-Podilskyi district of the State Police Headquarters in Khmelnytskyi region, Yurii SYROTIUK.

First-year cadet of the Educational and Research Institute No. 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Yana SHELEMBA took part in the Ukrainian Hand-to-Hand Combat Championship among adults, dedicated to the memory of the Hero of Ukraine, Major General Maksym Shapoval.

Lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 of KhNUIA Oleh YANKOVSKYI conducted a lesson on the discipline "Algorithm of actions in various situations of official activity" for cadets of the ERI No. 1. The students examined the actions of police officers when responding to reports of domestic violence.

Deputy Director for Educational and Research Activities of the ERI No. 2, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Serhii HIRENKO, as well as cadets Alina ILIASHOVA and Daria SEMCHUK successfully completed the online course "Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals" on the topic "Criteria for Admissibility of Applications Submitted to the ECtHR."

Basketball club "Rivne", which includes Oleksandr SHEPELEV, a lecturer of the Department of Special Physical Training of the ERI No. 2, became a finalist of the Ukrainian Basketball Cup. In the decisive match for the main trophy, his team met with BC "Dnipro".

Scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2, together with specialists from the "Center for Mine Action of Ukraine", conducted a binary lesson for the cadets of the ERI No. 2 on the topic: "Tactics of police actions in the event of the detection of explosive objects."

Head of the Department of Postgraduate (Adjunct) and Doctoral Studies, Professor of the Department of Administrative Activities, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Volodymyr IVANTSOV, together with cadets of the ERI No. 2, successfully completed the online course "Communication on National Communities for the Press Services of the Police and the Prosecutor's Office."

Under this name, Vinnytsia Airsoft Federation, with the support of the 14th Airsoft Brigade of the NGU "Chervona Kalyna" and with the participation of representatives of the combat brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, NGU, and NPU, organized an All-Ukrainian military tactical training in the Defend the Fortress mode in Vinnytsia.

Recently, the regional championship in mixed martial arts MMA was held in the city of Tulchyn, Vinnytsia region, where the best athletes of the region gathered. Students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the competitions. A 2nd-year cadet of the ERI No. 2, Bohdan BILOBORODOV, demonstrated high technical training and won a silver medal.
