The next meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Language Training was held, dedicated to the current problems of legal linguistics. The event brought together students who are not indifferent to the purity and accuracy of legal language.

2nd year cadets of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1, together with their curator Yevhen PODOROZHNII, visited the historical sites of the Old Town of Kamianets-Podilskyi. During the excursion, they visited Kamianets-Podilskyi Fortress - one of the most famous architectural monuments of Ukraine.

Cadets of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs won the Unity Cup in volleyball among people with disabilities and were awarded for their sporting achievements.

On the occasion of the International Day of Academic Integrity, the Department of Quality Assurance in Education held a series of lectures to raise awareness of the principles of academic integrity, the importance of adhering to ethical norms during study, and familiarization with mechanisms for preventing academic plagiarism.

The curators of the groups of the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 – Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation Alina PIDDUBNA and Professor of the same department Hennadii HLOBENKO – held meetings with the cadets. During the communication, they discussed the current issues of cyber hygiene in modern society.

The university is holding the European Code Week (EU Code Week), which aims to popularize digital education and increase the level of cyber literacy among young people. As part of this event, the curator of the ERI №1 Ruslan CHYCHA held an informative session for cadets on the topic "Current issues of cyber hygiene in modern Ukrainian society."

Representatives of the Department of Civil, Labor and Economic Law of the ERI No. 1 took part in the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Communication as a Factor of Transparency of Social Interaction: the Age of Digitalization", dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Western Ukrainian National University.

Curator, professor of the Department of Civil, Labor and Economic Law, Kostiantyn MELNYK, discussed with cadets of the ERI No. 1 security issues in the digital space: protecting personal data, creating complex and reliable passwords, detecting and preventing phishing attacks, as well as adhering to the rules of safe behavior in social networks.

A binary lesson was held for cadets of the ERI No. 1, during which the academic and practical components of the training of future specialists were combined. The academic part was presented by Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology Kyrylo CHEREVKO, who revealed the theoretical principles of the qualification of criminal offenses against property.
