Ihor Zozulia, Professor of the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Science, Doctor of Law, and Olena Horash, Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, held a curatorial hour for first-year cadets of the ERI No. 1.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Candidate of Law Kyrylo Cherevko and Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of Civil, Labour and Commercial Law Yevhen Podorozhnii held regular curatorial meetings with students of the ERI No. 1.

The Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1, Doctor of Law, Professor Yurii Orlov, as an invited speaker, took part in the interdisciplinary scientific and practical conference ‘Modern Problems of Development of the Aerospace Industry of Ukraine: Engineering, Business, Law’.

The event was held on the topic of ‘Corruption in Local Self-Government Bodies and its Prevention’ within the framework of cooperation between the Vinnytsia branch of KhNUIA Legal Clinic and Vinnytsia Regional Association of Local Self-Government Bodies and the Central-Western Department of Free Legal Aid.

Viktoriia Bila, an investigator at the Police Investigation Department No. 1 of Pervomaiskyi District Police Department of the Main Police Department in Mykolaiv Oblast, together with Valentyna Kochyna, an associate professor of the Language Training Department, conducted a lesson on ‘Police Actions: Road Accidents’ for first-year cadets of the ERI No. 4.

The All-Ukrainian kettlebell lifting tournament ‘Pereiaslav Autumn 2024’ dedicated to the memory of the honorary worker of physical culture and sports of Ukraine Borys Sonko in the exercise ‘Guard snatch’ took place in Pereiaslav, in which the national team of KhNUIA in kettlebell lifting took part.

In Vinnytsia city, KhNUIA cadets took part in the All-Ukrainian Thai Boxing Championship in honour of the Heroes of Artan. Dmytro Konstantynov, the coach and head of the Department of Special Physical Training of the ERI №2, prepared the youth for the competition. The judge of the competition was Bohdan Lukin, associate professor of the same department.

The curator, lecturer of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organisation of Pre-trial Investigation Iryna Nechaieva held an educational hour with the students of the ERI No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the topic ‘What are the requirements for ethical behaviour of police officers’. They discussed the provisions of the Code of Ethics of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

The Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI №1 Yurii Orlov held a regular lesson for the participants of the Scientific Leadership School. He examined the essence of genocide, in particular under international law and national legislation, taking into account current trends in the development of society, etc.

For the purpose of military-patriotic education, military chaplains - members of the secretariat of the Spiritual Council of Kamianets-Podilskyi came to the students of the ERI №1, 4, 5 of KhNUIA, who most need parental support and care - orphans, children deprived of parental care, children who lost relatives in the ongoing war.
