The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the relevant decision on January 20, 2023. The head of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the city of Kyiv, Ivan Vyhivskyi, will temporarily perform the duties of the Head of the National Police of Ukraine.

Military chaplain Taras Banas, a member of the Secretariat of the Spiritual Council of the city of Kamianets-Podilskyi, conducted a thematic video lecture for the first-year cadets of Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for the Day of Unity of Ukraine.

Every year on January 22, on the day of the proclamation of the Act of Unification of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the West Ukrainian People's Republic, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Unity. The Act of Zluka became a historical unification of Ukrainian lands in one state. On the occasion of this event, Sumy branch of KhNUIA organized and held patriotic events for students of higher education.

A video lecture was held by the head of the Department of Ukrainian Studies of Vinnytsia Academy of Continuing Education, Volodymyr Lazarenko, for higher education students of Faculties No. 1-4 of  Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs before the Day of Unity of Ukraine.

To the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, the Department of Theory and History of the State and Law of the Faculty No. 1 of KhNUIA held a round table dedicated to the history of Crimea, its present and ways of deoccupation of the peninsula.

Maria Kluban, assistant professor of the Department of Law Enforcement and Policeistics of the Faculty No. 6, held a career orientation event at Manevytskyi Lyceum No. 2 of  Manevytskyi Village Council of Kamin-Kashyrskyi District of Volyn Region and met with 11th-grade students, director Zhanna Taran and deputy director for educational work Iryna Voitenko.

Svitlana Popova, professor of the Department of Law Enforcement and Policeistics of the Faculty No. 6 of KhNUIA, together with Andrii Novichenko, the head of police department No. 1 of Krasnohrad District Police Department of the MDNP in Kharkiv Region, held a binary online class on the topic "Activity of the National Police under martial law".

In Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a class was held as part of official training on the prevention of drug addiction among personnel, detection of cases of drug use, as well as identification of persons involved in their distribution among young people.

On January 18, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrskyi, his first deputy Yevhenii Yenin, State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yurii Lubkovych, deputy head of the Patronage Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Tetiana Shutiak, head of the security department of the Department of Internal Security of the NPU, police lieutenant colonel Mykhailo Pavlushko, leading inspector of the Department of Communication of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Mykola Anatskyi died on January 18 performing official duties.

On January 23, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., a lecture on "Drugs. Drug addiction. Consequences". The online lecture will be conducted by Anastasiia Tomylina, operational officer of the Department of Combating Narcotic Crime in Kharkiv Region of the Department of Combating Narcotic Crime of the National Police of Ukraine.
