
Representatives of the Recruitment and Career Guidance Department of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a series of career guidance meetings with graduates of general secondary education institutions in Turbiv, Lipovets District Council, Vinnytsia region.

In order to monitor and improve the quality of educational services for the training of police officers, Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs initiates a revision of the educational and professional program of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in the specialty 081 "Law" (Police).

Representatives of the Department of Constitutional and International Law of the Faculty No. 4 - Professor Andrii Voitsikhovskyi, Associate Professor Yevheniia Lohvynenko and Lecturer Vitalii Maltsev - took part in the webinar "Ensuring the Procedural Right to a Fair Trial and Ensuring the Right to Nullum Crimen Sine Lege in Criminal Proceedings on Collaboration Activities".

Within the framework of the career guidance campaign "Visit your home school", the 1st year cadet of the Faculty No. 2 Maryna Balamut met with the pupils of four graduating classes of Zinkivskyi lyceum named after M. K. Zerov and the supporting lyceum No. 1 of Zinkivskyi city council of Poltava region.

Zakhar Demydov, Senior Researcher at the Research Laboratory for Information Technologies and Combating Crime in Cyberspace of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in the webinar "Industry experts: Ransomware threats today are not what they were a year ago" ("Industry experts: Ransomware threats today are not what they were a year ago").

The Institute of Postgraduate Education has started the initial police training for 40 officers of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine. Two study groups under the guidance of the most experienced lecturers of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Departments of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs will acquire the knowledge necessary to work in the positions.

Valerii Matus, a lecturer at the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University, has successfully completed the online module "Firearms", which was introduced by the European Union Advisory Mission for Civilian Security Sector Reform in Ukraine (EUAM Ukraine) in cooperation with the European Union Agency for the Training of Law Enforcement Officers (CEPOL) and the TOPCOP project.

Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksii Shumilo has completed the training course "Assessment of Environmental Damage from Russian Aggression" on the Prometheus educational platform.

The implementation of the Police Cadet Corps training course continues, the main goal of which is to provide Vinnytsia region's graduating students with free training before entering higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. On the eve of Easter, classes began at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for students of the Police Cadet Corps project who want to master the police profession in the future.
