
A meeting of the Academic Council of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was held under the chairmanship of Rector Valerii Sokurenko, Police General of the third rank. The meeting addressed a number of pressing issues of the higher education institution.

An introductory tour of the university was organized for children from Oleksiivka community of Kharkiv region who came to Kytaihorodska amalgamated territorial community of Khmelnytskyi region for recreation. These are girls and boys whose parents are participating in hostilities, who are in foster care or have lost one of their breadwinners.

Representatives of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of Faculty № 2, Associate Professor Maryna Petchenko, PhD in Economics, Natalia Bobro, PhD in Economics, and cadets of Faculties № 2 and №3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in a webinar on "Minimizing the negative consequences for victims of sexual violence during the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine."

Kateryna Horbunova, a lecturer at the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and Yaroslav Tsvihun, Head of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Forensic Medical Examination Department, conducted a binary field trip to Kamianets-Podilskyi Morgue.

In order to form professionally important qualities and managerial skills, psychologists of the psychological support department of the personnel department together with the leadership of the faculty № 2 conducted an interactive lesson with 1st year cadets who are candidates for junior commanders

The Head of the Department Mykhailo Shcherbakovskyi included a number of important topical issues on the agenda of the online meeting, including conducting binary classes by the Department's academic staff, improving career guidance, intensifying publication activities, updating the meetings of the scientific circle and the work of curators.

The Information Handbook "Research Work of Higher Education Applicants of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in the Conditions of War" was published and posted in the repository (https://dspace.univd.edu.ua/handle/123456789/18380).

As part of career guidance, applicants for higher education of Faculty No. 3 - master's student Yurii Murza and 2nd year cadet Yevhen Ratoshniuk met with future graduates of Vinnytsia Lyceums No. 2 and No. 16, told them about the peculiarities of entering Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in 2024.

Employees of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities and Crime Solution of the Faculty No. 2 - Associate Professor Iryna Shynkarenko and Senior Lecturer Pavlo Mitrukhov, together with curatorial groups, visited Vinnytsia Regional Art Museum.
