The Commissioner for Anti-Corruption Activities Yana Mazur took part online in the VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Implementation of the State Anti-Corruption Policy in the International Dimension", dedicated to the International Anti-Corruption Day.

Corruption is a complex social, political and economic phenomenon that destroys democratic institutions, slows down economic development and undermines public interests. No country, no region, no society is immune from corruption. The International Anti-Corruption Day is celebrated on December 9 in connection with the anniversary of the opening for signature of the United Nations Convention against Corruption, which is one of the main international anti-corruption documents.

Yurii Orlov, Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1, held a career guidance meeting with the management and students of Chernivtsi Military and Sports Lyceum. He spoke about the history of formation and the current state of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs as one of the leading higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Yuliia Buhaiiko, a lecturer at the Department of Police and Public Administration of the Faculty No. 3, held a meeting of the scientific club on combating domestic violence. The head of the group spoke about the types of violence and their causes.

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - cadets, a drummers' unit and an amateur group together with soldiers of one of the military units of Vinnytsia congratulated the children of Kotiuzhanivskyi Educational and Rehabilitation Center of Murovanokurylovetskyi District of Vinnytsia Regional Council on the holidays.

Oleksandr Radchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law of the Faculty № 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part online in the third Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation "Protection of Fundamental Human Rights and Freedoms in the Process of Ensuring Public Order and Security", which was held at  Stefan Cele Mare Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova.

Within the framework of the All-Ukrainian action "16 Days Against Violence", the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work together with the Department of Psychological Support of the Human Resources Department held an information and educational event for higher education students of the Faculties No. 2 and No. 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the topic "Interaction of entities involved in the prevention and counteraction of domestic violence. Activities of specialized support services for victims of domestic violence".

The Head of the Department of Labor and Commercial Law, Lieutenant Colonel of Police Kostiantyn Melnyk, together with the Deputy Head of the Prevention Sector of the Police Department No. 3 of Kharkiv District Police Department No. 3, Police Captain Oleksandr Lavrinenko, held a binary lesson for the cadets of Faculty No. 2 of the study group 203 on the topic "Employment Agreement".
