On the initiative of the Director of the ERI No. 4 Mykola MARCHUK, a meeting of cadets and students took place with the famous Ukrainian athlete, businessman, public figure and founder of the unique "Museum of the Formation of the Ukrainian Nation" Valerii HALAN.

The first meeting of the student scientific circle of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security of the ERI No. 5 was held under the leadership of the Professor of the Department, Yulia KYRYCHENKO.

Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Stanislav IVANOV, together with Associate Professor of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities and Crime Solution of the ERI No. 2 Pavel MITRUKHOV, conducted a lesson for first-year students of the ERI No. 5 specializing in "Law Enforcement Activities".

The Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, Olena LUKIANYKHINA, joined the online event "Gender equality issues", organized by the State Labor Service with the assistance of the Association of Small Towns of Ukraine.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Language Training Valentyna POCHUIEVA held a meeting of the scientific circle for students on the topic "Intercultural communication in the context of contemporary cultural dialogue". The circle members heard a message about the interaction between representatives of different cultures, aimed at achieving mutual understanding and avoiding conflicts in the modern world.

Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the ERI No. 5 Oleksandr KUKHARIEV conducted a binary online lesson for first-year students in the academic discipline "Introduction to a Specialty" on the topic "Characteristics of the Legal Profession and Individual Legal Specialties."

Within the framework of informal (non-formal) education, cadets actively develop scientific activities and present the results of their own research at the international level. Participation in such events contributes to the formation of a modern scientific worldview, the development of research skills and professional competencies of future law enforcement officers.

The first meeting of the circle was held in the new academic year, headed by Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 Yana PONOMARENKO. The event was attended by the Head of the department, Olena YEVDOKIMOVA, the teaching staff of the department, and students of various courses.

Curator of the 4th year of the ERI No. 4, senior lecturer of the Department of Language Training Larysa SAZANOVA held an informative conversation with students on the topic "Library - a temple of wisdom and science." The participants discussed the history of the emergence of libraries, starting from the times of Kyivan Rus. The lecturer paid special attention to the comparison of traditional libraries with modern ones.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 1 Kseniia YURTAIEVA, together with Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of the ERI No. 3 Mykhailo ZAVALNYI, held a binary lecture on the topic "Qualification of Criminal Offenses Against Property."
