Maryna Davydova, Deputy Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with leading specialists of the Department of Professional Guidance Oleksandra Riabko and Iryna Shyrina, held meetings with future applicants of the 10th and 11th grades of lyceums No. 13, 90, 178 of Kharkiv City Council.

The International Professional Tournament Legion Fight Pro was held in Khmelnytskyi, in which a student of the Master's degree programme of the ERI №1 of KhNUIA, Police Lieutenant Yehor Skurikhin took part. In a fight with a representative of Lithuania in the weight category up to 84 kg, Yehor won a confident early victory in the second round and received the Tournament Cup.

Lecturers of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 held a career guidance meeting with high school students of Kharkiv lyceums and acquainted them with the opportunities of studying at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the prospects for further professional realisation.

The students of the ERI No. 2 Serhii Zarovnyi, Maksym Bilyk and Kateryna Fomenko held a series of meetings with future graduates and teachers of general secondary education institutions: in Vinnytsia region - Lyceum with a preschool division in the village of Lisova Lysiivka, in Sumy region - Hlukhiv Secondary School No. 2, in Mykolaiv - Mykolaiv Lyceum No. 9.

For the students of the ERI No. 2, the classes were conducted by Oleh Kryshtal, Senior Operative Officer of Izium District Police Department in Kharkiv Region, Vitalii Yakovliev, Investigator of Pavlohrad District Police Department in Dnipro Region, together with Kateryna Penzieva, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Science.

Career guidance meetings were held in Khmelnytskyi at Lyceum No. 10 and Artem Mazur Technological Multidisciplinary Lyceum in Khmelnytskyi by 3rd year cadets of the ERI №1 Kateryna Bozhuk and Vladyslav Kutsak. They told the graduates about the conditions of admission to the higher education institution and the specialities that train specialists for police units.

For the 2nd year master's students of the ERI №5, a lesson on ‘Peculiarities of military and political conflict’ was conducted by Oleh Hromyko, Professor of the Department of Aviation Tactics of the Flight Faculty of Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National Air Force University, and Olha Marchenko, Professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI №5.

The staff of the Department of Civil, Labour and Commercial Law of the ERI No. 1 organised a career guidance event for the final year students of the lyceum. The Head of the Department Oleksii Zaitsev together with the teachers acquainted the lyceum students with the possibilities of entering the university and the advantages of studying law.

Iryna Kravets, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Language Training of KhNUIA, took part in the international online webinar ‘Why Extracurriculars are Essential, Not Extra’ from the Johns Hopkins Centre for Talented Youth. She learned about testing research, programmes and other resources.

Oleksii Zaitsev, Head of the Department of Civil, Labour and Commercial Law of the ERI No. 1, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, made a report ‘Amendments to the Procurement Agreement’ during the III All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference ‘State and Legal Principles of Formation of the Security Environment in Ukraine in the Context of Modern Challenges’.
