
Oleksii Laptii, Deputy Head of the Service Organization Department, and Serhii Katsalap, a specialist in the Social and Humanitarian Work Department, handed over more than 300 food packages to university employees in difficult life circumstances and delivered them to university veterans and retirees.

Employees of the Department for Organization of Work on Professional Orientation of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and personnel support of the Police Department No. 4 of Vinnytsia District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia Oblast met with the final year students. The events were attended by more than 200 students of general secondary education institutions of Lipovetska RTC.

On behalf of Nataliia Hridina, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Activities of the ERI №3, students of the Institute's Master's program and Olena Pohorilets, a researcher at the Research Laboratory for Pre-trial Investigation of the ERI №1, met with future graduates of Myroslav Popovych Lyceum №1 in Iziaslav.

During the event, the cadets of the ERI №1 mastered the techniques of forcible detention of an offender, studied the specifics of the use of physical force within the legal field. Such classes help to develop not only coordination, but also form a professional approach to assessing the situation and making decisions.

Head of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine Volodymyr Hrechenko and Assistant to the Rector, Doctor of Law, Professor Anatolii Klochko remotely participated in the VII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modernization of Modern Science: Experience and Trends”.

Professor of the Department of Civil, Labor and Commercial Law of the ERI №1 Yevhen Podorozhnii discussed with the Head of the municipal institution “Kharkiv Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training ‘Rescuer’ of Kharkiv Regional Council Serhii Forostovets key aspects of future cooperation, in particular the organization of career guidance for lyceum students.

During the unscheduled meeting, the Head of the Department, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Mykola Pakhnin emphasized the importance of taking into account the experience of historical events, in particular the Unity of Ukraine and the Holocaust. Student Vladyslava Kolisnyk made a presentation on the topic “Criminal and Legal Characterization of ‘Genocide’ under Art. 442 of the Criminal Code”.

Liudmyla Mykhailenko, Senior Investigator of the Investigation Department of Kharkiv Police Department No. 3, and Nataliia Prokopenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, conducted a class for students on the subject of “Qualification of Crimes Against Public Safety and Public Order.”

The 1st and 2nd year cadets of the ERI №1 of KhNUIA Daryna Verbytska and Maksym Khylobokyi met with the students of Kamianets-Podilskyi Lyceum №9 named after A.M. Troian and discussed road safety issues with them. They reminded them of the importance of wearing reflective elements, which significantly increases the level of safety in the dark and reduces the risk of accidents.

During January, the academic staff of the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Pedagogy of the Educational and Research Institute №3 conducted training sessions with military personnel from the military formations of the western region of Ukraine. At the meetings, they practiced the skills of providing first aid to themselves and others in case of emergencies, traumas, and stressful events.
